I was looking for good old fashioned wooden rulers and these are great. Much better than the plastic ones. The steel edge is always straight and does not knick like the plastic rulers

I bought these so I could have a ruler in the home office, in the kitchen junk drawer and by my chair, where I sometimes do hand sewing or work on a small craft while watching evening television. These have the traditional black lettering/numbering on manila-colored, wooden ruler, very easy to read,. which is a must-have. , it doesn't They are quite thin and very lightweight, much more so than their vintage counterparts. How long they'll last remains to be seen, but for $1.03 each, they're a good bargain and will be well used. Should the lettering wear off or their light weight equate to a short life, I'll be back to update.

These rulers are great. Too often, rulers that are all made of wood get chipped and damage and fail to function. The plastic rulers get broken. These are the perfect option. I am an art teacher, and these are all that I purchase.

I bought to place around the house. I like them better than a tape measure when decorating as too often the tape measures snap back. Simple and helpful.

Other than being very light weight these work well.
