Just received and assembled this ladder.PRO: Assembly was generally easy and quick. I tested the ladder up to the third step and it felt sturdy, and I found the handrails gave me confidence in climbing and allowed an almost stair-like angle to ascend the ladder. I like the dimensions of the steps, which make it much easier to navigate with my damaged knees. My vinyl floor can add slip to furniture, but this ladder's feet barely budged as I climbed. I'm confident that I will find this ladder more useful and safer than a standard ladder.Yes, it' heavier than a standard aluminum ladder, but I was able to carry it, and in spaces where I couldn't I "walked" it along on its legs. It's weight suggests that this ladder is sturdy and has good load bearing.CON: The insets on the instructions could have been a little larger (what to use to attach the tool ledge and ladder rails), but still not really difficult to follow.

At age 77 I feel much more stable on the wide steps and they do NOT get smaller as you go up. That's a huge ++. Side handles are a breeze to attach. There is a top handle also for more stability. Tool tray is very handy and top step locks ladder open. Easy snap to release and easy to close by pushing it . Wish it was a little lighter but will take the sturdiness over the weight anytime. 4 legs have flared rubber feet for extra stability BUT keep some Mr Clean pads handy because they make beautiful streaks on the painted walls when you forget about those feet. DUH!Easy to fold straight up and lean against wall in garage. Highly recommended.

Study ladder, I feel very safe using it :) directions were a little hard to read/fine print and to follow, but I was able to it. Had a hard time putting the top section on as the tubular metal parts were slightly off so I had to really force it together, but that’s all. It’s a little heavier to carry than I’d like, but it’s a great solid ladder. Great price on Amazon too.

Very sturdy and easy to unfold.

Very nice ladder with good steps. The flat back lets me climb up facing our shelves rather than beside them on a standard ladder. With our standard ladder I had to twist to reach things on our shelve and then try to get back down. This design is so much safer with the handrails for better balance and wider steps for stability. The only thing I would change is somehow having the hand rails fold in for flatter storage when not in use.

Really have no complaints about this purchase.I hate to call it a step-stool and cannot really call it a ladder, but it's the perfect in-between for the home. Normal step-stools fall short of reaching areas like the ceiling in my home. I'm roughly 6 feet tall and my ceilings are 9 feet. When it comes to working on something at the ceiling, I was always forced to bring in an actual ladder, but not anymore. This step-stool and it's third step give me all the room I need and no longer do I need to drag in the bulky ladder to reach the ceiling.I've seen other reviews complain about the third step being wobbly, but I did not experience this. I'm roughly 200 lbs. and it gives me all the confidence standing on the top step. It's sturdy as can be, considering how light this thing is overall and how slim it folds down. When extended, the safety latch clicks immediately and holds things together nicely. It's also easy to release and fold right back up.The cost is definitely in line with what we would expect these days but I'd imagine I would have to pay double at a normal hardware store.Extremely happy with this item.

This letter far exceeded my expectations. For the first time I feel confident walking up and down a step ladder. Not only is it more sturdy but the design features makes it a joy to use. The railings on the side assist in claiming up and down, but they also serve as a balance point that I lean on slightly as I work, which helps me to be more steady. The top railing is a safety feature in case I lose my balance I can always quickly reach down and grab that. The steps are wide and deep making it comfortable even being barefoot. On top of all that, it's the easiest step ladder I've ever had to put up and take down. It's effortless.

This is for the 2 step- exactly what I wanted! The steps are wider and deeper than most others and it opens/closes easily. I like the latch under the top step and the top step handle-hole which makes it easy to pull it closed. This is light enough for me to pick up and carry I am 64 yr female but it may be a tad heavier than some less sturdy stools be sure to check weight if you need a feather- weight stool this may be heavier but I LOVE it because I wanted a sturdier safer feeling stool. My hubby at 240 also said he felt safe on it. Like the top handle too.
