Franz Bakery Gluten Free Deli Style Sourdough Bread - 2 Pack (2 x 14oz)

I've been gluten free for many years and the hardest thing to find is good bread. I've lived with many poor substitutes thinking I would never get to eat delicious bread again.This product is fantastic. It has the perfect texture which replicates wheat bread. I ordered a case after buying this as a sample.My only complaint would be the shape, which is flat and wide, but really, who cares? It tastes great. And in sourdough flavor, too! I love it.All gluten free products are costly compared to their wheat alternatives, and this is no more costly than any other gluten free product. Completely worth the price to me.

The best GF bread I've tried. It tastes good, it's not hard or dry (it's so moist it takes a long time to toast a slice) and the slices are double the size of most other GF brands. They're even bigger than Schar Sourdough slices. And unlike Schar, these don't say not to freeze the bread if you decide to stock up on it or save it for special occasions.The only downside? There are only 6 slices in a package, x 2 packages. Only you can decide if 12 slices of bread are worth $28 to you. I'm saving these for special occasions.

AMAZING GF BREAD!! Especially, since it does not have Eggs in it. We've tried several GF/Vegan breads and this is, BY FAR, the best we've had so far. Just ordered the Brioche version. Its soft, toasts well, makes a great pressed sandwich. That's really all we've used it for so far. We'll buy more, for sure!

This is by far the best gluten free bread I have tried. I only gave it 4 stars because of the price! It’s way too expensive!

This is great tasting bread, and bonus-I did NOT get sick from it. I really enjoyed the taste of the bread I actually haven’t eaten bread in years because most GF breads are usually awful tasting, but not this bread. I forgot what I was missing! I toasted it, put pats of butter on the slice, put in microwave for about 10 seconds, it was sooooo good!

This bread is good, however, it does NOT taste like sourdough! At $2.26 per slice of bread, I was disappointed 😢 that there is not a hint of sourdough flavor. On the plus side, it is soft and does not have the dry, crumbly texture of a gluten free bread.I reordered this bread again on April 3, 2025 and received it just two days later on April 5. However, this time the bread arrived moldy, which is interesting because it was not hot, nor did it take a long time to arrive. The best by date was April 22, 2025. So it seems like the mold was already growing by the time it was shipped. I will be requesting a refund.

Being always an optimistic person I decided to try this bread. I have been caught countless times by reviews stating that gluten free breads were actually tasty and like their counterparts in the real world. This time I was rewarded by the fact that this IS BREAD...It tastes like real bread, the consistency is good, the flavor while not overly sour , tastes great and even without toasting tastes wonderful. Brings bread back into our family's life. A turkey sandwich is something haven't been able to have in over 10 years. Thank you Franz bakery!

This bread is a real treat. I found it originally in the Seattle area and it is not available in L.A. So, I ordered some from Amazon in different styles. It's all great. I don't think you will find a better GF bread, honestly.
