Static Guard Fabric Spray, Fresh Linen Scent, 5.5 Ounce Can (Pack of 2)

My college-aged son recently moved into an AirBNB style apartment for a temporary coop assignment. A few weeks after moving in, he started to get static shocks....all the time....from literally EVERYTHING he touched. Nothing in his environment had changed - the furnishings in the apartment were still the same, he was wearing the same clothes he always did, etc. The shocks got so bad that if he touched an electrical appliance like his computer, it would shock him and shut the computer off.We researched static shocks on the internet and ended up buying a hygrometer to measure the humiditiy levels - it was summer in the midwest so the air was plenty humid, but we bought a humidifier anyway to see if it would help since he noticed the only time he wasn't getting shocked was when he was just out of the shower and his skin was still damp. Alas, the humidifier did not help and the shocks continued....in fact, they also started to happen to him at his office (turning off his work laptop - oof!) which is how we knew it wasn't a problem with the apartment's electrical system.It was seriously to the point where he thought he was going crazy. As a last ditch effort to solve the problem, I ordered him a 2 pack of this Static Guard spray. He sprayed it all over his apartment - on his sofa, his desk chair, the throw rugs, his clothes and the bottoms of his shoes. Like magic, the shocks instantly stopped both at home and at work. We are still baffled by what happened -- it seems like something out of a sci-fi movie that a person could suddenly become so electrically charged that they get shocks capable of shutting off comptuers everywhere they go -- but whatever is in this Static Guard seems to have solved the problem. Thanks Static Guard for putting an end to the mystery and saving my son's sanity!

I’ve tried buying him other static sprays, but the spray will stink or it just doesn’t work as well. This stuff works great! I actually kind of like the smell.

the smell is not bad, the quality according to my husband is good, it stops wrinkling and shock, he’s able to perform well at work without getting shock, it’s water resistant depending on the amount of water your dealing with, it’s leak free and overall the performance is great.

All my clothes have been sticking to me and I can stand it! I can do without my static guard. I us this daily.

I love this product! As a teacher I wear a lot of chiffon and other dress clothing that often becomes very clingy throughout the day. I keep a bottle of this in my classroom and in my bathroom at home. It works well to take the static out. While it lasts for a while, it does not always last all day. Expect to reapply.

Have used this product for years. Best on the market, however this order never arrived so if and when it does I’ll gladly give my honest review.
