I like using this brush and my yellow lab enjoys being brushed with it. Removes hair easily and is a breeze to remove hair from the brush with the retractable prongs. Seems to be holding up well. Some say the brush prongs won't retract. I've found if too much hair is accumulated before hair removal from the brush retraction takes a couple of pushes of the button. The capped wire bristles keep the bristles from digging into the dogs skin. Would buy again.

I have a long haired cat with an affinity for rolling in our garden mulch so I’m frequently having to groom him. This is a super handy little brush, I love that I’m not forced to waste time untangling hair from the brush I can just pop the bristles back! The bristles are maybe a little harsh but not too bad and they are good for removing tangles.

I've tried using slicker brushes on my cat before, but for some reason she was deathly afraid of them, and did not tolerate being brushed. I think it may have been due to the color (green) and texture? But lately, she'd been vomiting up hairballs a lot, so I decided we needed to try brushing her again.Thus I found this product, and decided on it after looking through reviews. This time, I went with a neutral grey/black. And boy, my cat friggin LOVES this thing?? Its so easy to use, and each stroke brings up a ton of loose fur that she would otherwise be ingesting by cleaning herself. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable, and being able to just press a button to clear out the debris left over from brushing is phenomenal.10/10 product. If you're on the fence, go for it.

Four stars because it seems like a lot of hair just stays on my cat, but I will say, a lot comes off too. The reason it still gets four stars, is that prior to this brush, my cat would not tolerate any brush. He now kind of likes getting brushed, even though he's still sort of acting like he doesn't. The feature where the bristles retract makes it fun/easy to clean really quickly with each use. I think the bristles hurt my cat less than other brushes I have tried, which is nice, but like I said, it errs a bit to the side of not getting all the fur no matter what. The brush does a good job on only taking the undercoat.

I have purchased a few different pet brushes over the years and my dog would run from me if she seen it in my hand...But, she seems to like this one. No longer a fight to brush her out now! The bristles are strong enough to get the job done, but soft enough not to bother her!

Brilliant invention, great quality, and we love the purple! Easy tap of a button retracts the bristles, and lets us slip off all that dog hair—easy to clean, easy to use, and great for both of our dogs—one who sheds like crazy but has medium hair length and the other who's a double-coated husky (we do have to be gentler with him, but that's expected given his undercoat). We love this so much, we bought extras!

Life changer! So easy and fast now to brush my cats. I had brushing gloves and regular brush but it was pain to clean them and hair would fly all over.With this brush, I brush them daily now. It takes 3-5 times less time and leaves no hair flying around.When not in use keep brush pins inside in inside position to prevent any bent pins. I assume it will get stuck if you end up bending pin and not fixing it.To remove hair just click button few times until hair batch falls off.

I have two Maine Coons and a British Longhair/Scottish Fold mix. Needless to say, hair and the brushing of it is big frickin’ thing in my house. This brush is easy to use and doesn’t pull or break their hair. ~And~ you can get rid of the hair easily. Great product!
