This is the kit you need!
Should have bought this the first time, but instead got another kit with rollers and pulley that didn't fit properly despite having my model listed. The parts I could use from that kit failed in months. This being Whirlpool parts was the right choice so far. Pulley I had was worn out and the retaining clip was nearly gone, along with the belt being shredded from going around the motor post itself. Loud squealing and not wanting to start spinning has been solved with these replacement parts. Hopefully they last until I decide to upgrade my machines. Tempting, but then kits like these keep the old ones running at a m7ch lower cost than a new machine.

PERFECT OEM QUALITY!!
SKIP aftermarket parts, definitely go with OEM. Our drier burned out the thermal fuse, and because that generally only happens if there is an underlying problem I decided to investigate. After confirming the fuse was bad I removed the front panel and drum of our drier to find one of the drum rollers chewed up pretty badly and wasn’t spinning freely. I bought this kit with new belt, tensioner, both rollers and hardware. I did completely clean both roller shafts well and added a dab of grease to the bushing on both. These rollers are not equipped with bearings, so greasing them lightly seemed logical. Took about 20 minutes to remove all old parts and install new ones, another ten minutes to reassemble the cabinet. Replaced the thermal fuse and drier fired right up and ran smoother and quieter than it has in years. After reading reviews of the many aftermarket parts I’d found there was no way I was skimping on price for an appliance that uses 220V and creates high heat- super risky. Plus I didn’t want to do this repair again in short order. So I didn’t mind spending the extra money for OEM Maytag parts, plus the fact it was a repair kit was outstanding. If you’re embarking on this repair, you’re already very deep into your drier. This is a perfect time to remove all lint, and thoroughly clean and inspect the entire unit. I checked all of the following- high and low heat cutoff switches, removed the entire exhaust box and inspected the fan and cleaned all the plumbing. Inspect your vent hose and clamps, all fasteners, and electrical connections. Our drier is 11 years old, and this is the first repair we had. We removed about $7.00 worth of loose change, various pieces of misc. hardware (not drier related), a couple buttons, a whole bunch of rogue lint, and other dirt. Most of this is extremely hazardous around heat and moving parts. All in I would definitely buy these parts again (just hoping I don’t have to), it’s so much easier and more cost effective to repair than replace an entire unit. I learned that every couple years I will be removing my front drier panel to thoroughly clean and maintain the moving parts. I’d say this is a super easy DIY repair with basic tools, and while the kit came with instructions there are plenty of videos online as well.

Fixed a squealing dryer.
This kit fits my Maytag MEDB765FC0. This dryer os less than 5 years old and I have already replaced the heating element twice and replaced the safety fuse twice. It started making squealing noises after 10 minutes of runtime. After reading some information online, this kit replaced worn out parts that caused that sound.Taking apart the dryer was simple enough. The front section needs to be removed and the top also needs to be removed so the drum can me taken out. Before taking put the drum, note the routing of the belt. It's a simple route but take a picture of it just in case. I replaced all the included parts and my dryer is quiet again. Hopefully it lasts longer than 5 years, but I doubt it will.

Easy swapout to get you back to like-new operation
Perfect solution for a loud, squeaky dryer... replaces all the culprit parts. Plenty of youtube videos out there to make it an easier task. Even if you take it super slow and have trouble, should be able to go from start to finish in an hour. Take the opportunity to vacuum while you are in there.

Good kit, did the trick
This kit is good, did the job. Our felt seal wore out on our whirlpool dryer after 10 years (pretty good right??) so we replaced that and thought might as well replace the drum wheels so we purchased this kit. My only complaint is that the little white wheel apparatus that holds the belt did not fit in the holes in the dryer frame very well and it kept falling out of place. We ended up just keeping the original belt wheel. Everything else is functioning very well and is SO quiet!! Our drum wheels were SO worn out. Glad we decided to replace them and the belt.

Took care of that annoying noise
My dryer had an annoying squeal and this kit took care of that. Turns out one of my wheels was really bad and the other was well on its way to complete failure so I'm glad that I did this when I did. It looks a little intimidating to do the install, but it's actually quite simple. Don't mess around with cheap kits and stick with OEM.

Genuine parts, one size fits most
Instructions haven’t been updated sine 1982. Who cares, I’ve been in and out of my front loader countless times i could replace the heater or rollers blind folded. This is my second whirlpool and last one I had rebuilt it so many times that it was starting to fall apart at the seams.Oe parts, not exact replacements for my dryer but close enough. Rollers looked like an older version with the lock ring but having them is not a bad thing. The idler came with a steel washer, my dyer had a thicker plastic washer between the roller and the idler arm, I kept it and stuck the supplied washer between the roller and the plastic snap ring (triangle). Instructions don’t specify where the steel washer is intended to be installed- it’s not mentioned at all.Whirlpool parts are usually better than the typical Amazon offerings, I was happy to see this kit reasonably priced.
