I bought 3 of these for my grandkids in 3 different families after reading the reviews. I am SO impressed by the quality craftsmanship and sturdiness of the product!! It’s just the right size and weight for little ones yet keeps older kids engaged as well (and even adults :). The size/weight makes it perfect for throwing in a travel bag, diaper bag or larger purse. The various switches, colorful lights, buttons, plug, and keys are fun to play with and of high quality. I can’t say enough good about it! I love that it’s made of solid wood and not plastic! Thank you for creating an excellent, creative and instructional toy! It’ll be my new go-to gift for birthdays!

We picked up the classic Montessori Light‑Up Switch Board for long car rides, and it’s been an absolute game‑changer. My three‑year‑old is obsessed. Flipping the switches and watching the lights keeps him entertained for hours, whether we’re on the road or hanging out at home.After plenty of toddler‑level “testing,” the board is still going strong. The colors are just as bright as day one, all the switches still click perfectly. The whole thing has handled every drop, toss, and enthusiastic button‑mash. It’s lightweight and easy for him to carry around on his own, so it comes everywhere with us.One small heads‑up: if you have a little screwdriver fanatic, keep an eye on the battery compartment. My son eventually figured out how to twist the cover off with his fingers. Not a deal‑breaker (I just tightened it again), but worth knowing.Overall, this switch board has delivered hours of focused, screen‑free play and has made our road trips so much easier. Highly recommend!

Love the toy. My niece loves playing with all the buttons and lights and I am not ashamed to say that I spent some time myself playing with it. The build quality is very high. The buttons and knobs change the frequency of the blinking lights and turn them on and off but the are no sounds. Contrary to a different item bought elsewhere the blinking and the lights are not overbearing and don't induce sensory overload. It also helps my niece refine her fine motor skills.

My 2 year old boy is in the "button pushing" phase. If it looks like a button, he's going push it, going to turn it on, he can't help himself! It's been thrown around and still works which is great for my toy breaker that it's durable!I got him this board and I love that on this one there is an on/off switch.We had another one for my daughter a few years back and the lights always stayed on. With this one, when they go to bed I can turn it off and conserve the battery life. My 2 year old and 4 year old both love their boards so it's amusing for different age ranges.Doesn't beep or make noise. A nice quiet toy that they can with that doesn't drive mama crazy!

My daughter loves it! Educational. Helped her with her hand coordination and understanding how switches and knobs work. She can even put the plug in all by herself. She does have difficulty learning how to put key into keyhole but within due time. Only issue is the battery drains fast. It doesn't last for long.

nicely made, good for learning, smaller than what I had expected but again a great learning tool for children.
