The Best Light/Laser Combo
I have several of these. Streamlight are by far my favorite light/laser combos. Fit like a glove on my XDM Elite compact 10mm

I liked it so much; I'm going to go online to my stockbroker and buy the company!
I put this on my S&W EZ/Equalizer, perfect fit. Use a "rail mounting key" that is the same width as the cross slots in your guns dovetail rail (picatinny rail). My S&W took the #1 (.211" wide key, for .211" wide rail slots). Make sure you understand all the direction first, (before you jump in and mess up your installation, a lot less aggravation too). The most difficult part for me, was installing the tiny c-clip on the end of the rail mounting cross screw. I used a magnifying glass and tweezers to get it lined up. Sighting in was easy, just make sure you put the .050" Allen wrench all the way into those small adjusting screws, or you might mess up those little set screw sockets!!! The light is bright, and the laser is easy to see. These small lasers will wash out in real bright sunlight. I mounted the light in the slot of the rail that put the light even with the muzzle end. I have been using the unit for a while now and would definitely recommend this weapons light for use on a smaller pistol! Got my 2nd. green laser Streamlight now. I use a "penny" to tighten the locking screw; you want something with a curved shape to tighten this screw, a penny works well. You also need a holster that accepts this TLR-8 light, I got a really nice one from L.A.G. Tactical. These lights are really nice and using just the laser, the battery last a long time, but play with it using the light also, then not so long.

Does not work
I bought one and the flashlight wouldn’t work. Sent it back and bought a new one. Same issue. Flashlight doesn’t work. Tried to troubleshoot but I think it’s the contact for the battery. If you want to purchase this I would do it through streamlight themselves so they can fix the issue with these.

Great for duty use
I’ve spent the last decade testing various weapon light brands and always come back to ole faithful Streamlight. This particular model is currently sitting on my P365 X-Macro as a secondary weapon for UC or plain clothes use. The battery has lasted longer than expected. The brightness and build quality are great. Tons of value for the cost.

Unable to Boresight
I was able to adjust windage (L & R) but not enough to zero and was not able to adjust vertical at all.I returned it and plan to order another as I hope it’s merely a quality issue and not a design problem. I will update when able.I am hopeful it’s a one-off problem as I have another TLR product and it has no such issues.

Awesome weapon light
Nice rail mounted light/laser. Light is very bright and green laser is too and visible during daylight hours. Light is selectable with laser, or just light, or just laser. Strobe feature is disabled from factory, but can be easily reprogrammed. Use it with a Black Point Mini Wing holster that it snaps into and holds and protects it well. Can’t really comment on battery life due to limited usage so far. Laser adjustments are very stiff so it should stay zeroed and not walk during usage. Read some reviews that mentioned that they were re sold units, but mine appears to have never been unpackaged. Very pleased with this as it is the first rail mounted light I have ever purchased.

Arrived Damaged, Ordered New
The media could not be loaded. First off, I would like to say that I have no issue with Streamlight and I had the TLR-7 sub before ordering this and it was fantastic. Great flashlight option. The issue I had here is purely related either to mishandling on new/used merchandise via Amazon or with Kenzies Optics, who is the seller using Amazon for logistics. I ordered this sight (TLR-8 G Sub) NEW from here and it arrived as seen in the video and images above…Now.. I CAN understand a retailer inspecting and placing a quality seal on an item. Yet this one arrived with the seal already broken and taped over with simple packing tape.. shame.Of course, I gave it an inspection quite skeptical off the bat. For you all interested in this product. I was able to get the laser and light to work just fine and it’s amazing. The laser is incredibly visible and the light illuminates a hallway very very well. It doesn’t spotlight as much as the dedicated flashlight versions but it is just as good as your average at home flashlight and gets the job done.As for the damage from my experience personally. The light/laser arrived with the c clamp missing from the 1913 rail mount clamp so it was unusable for mounting to a firearm. It also arrived with the elevation set screw missing, which shows this poor light was obviously abused by its previous owner. To sum up. If you’re ordering via Kenzie's Optics. Be forewarned that you may be receiving re-sealed merchandise sold as “new”. I recommend honestly if you have to buy through Amazon and they don’t have the railmount type you need, that you just buy the light/laser from Amazon as seller with whatever railmount type is available and contact streamlight personally about sending you the correct railmount kit for your firearm, as I have been told they are willing to send these for free to verifiable owners. Good luck!
