Fit great - stops the smell

If you use your air fryer as much as I do, having a pack of these handy is a must. They do prevent smell A LOT better than just normal filters. They fit my air fryer perfectly.

If you're familiar, this is the same material used as a prefilter in a lot of home hepa air filters (like Honeywell). I think the downfall of this material is it's not absorbent; it's more porous and rigid compared to the original filters, which basically soak up the oily smoke that comes off food being cooked. It's also much thinner; you need three to fit the slot correctly. But I had high hopes the carbon in this and the three layers would make up for its lack of absorbency. Unfortunately my 1st time using it I got an alert from my air monitor that air quality was very poor, which has never happened to me before with the two sets of factory filters I've used. And it's not just a fluke, as I use my air fryer very frequently and have had it for nearly two years and have cooked these same dumplings dozens of times. I've included a screenshot of my air quality alert; you can see the small bumps that show when I was using my air fryer with the factory filter. And that huge spike is when I switched to these filters.So while I give them props for trying something new, they could have tested this concept and seen it just wasn't doing much actual filtering. So as it sits, I definitely would recommend either sticking to the factory ones (more expensive but last a long time) or just find an aftermarket one that looks like the same white material.
