I recently installed a set of Aootek solar outdoor lights inside my outdoor shower, and I couldn't be happier with the results. These lights were fantastic! I love how they are solar powered and I didn't have to run electrical.Out of the box, I was happy with the quality. I am usually cautious about ordering stuff like this because it never seems to last but I can tell these will last a long time.They mounted well and figuring out how they functioned was very easy. There is a switch in the back to select the mode you want. I ordered (4) to begin with and all functioned perfectly out of the box. They even came with a charge.I have a large driveway and when they detect motion and light up, it is plenty bright. I use them on dim constant mode, then bright with any detection of movement. It was cloudy and rainy yesterday, so I was wondering if they'd get enough of a charge to maintain through the night. I got up around 4:30 or 5 and they were still on and working.Regarding customer service, I received an email providing an extra 6 mo. warranty on top of the 12 mo. manufacturer's warranty, for a total of 18 months. I expect to get much longer out of them but it is always good to know that they stand behind their product. Routinely, I also send a "hey thanks" email back just to see if anyone actually responds. Within about an hour, I had a reply back basically saying, "no problem, hope you're happy with them." That is always a nice feature (to be able to get ahold of an actual person who will help you if you do have an issue).My overall impression is that the lights exceeded my expectations and I plan to order some more to place around my property. I can foresee placing a few in my barn (no electrical in there) and mounting some to trees at the rear of our property.I also wanted to mention that on dim mode, it is the perfect amount of light. I'm a light sleeper and even with the second story curtains opened slightly, the amount of light would not be very noticeable but from my window, I can clearly see the gravel driveway and any objects for about 10 to 15 feet. It's similar to a dim flashlight. When it clicks on, it's really bright and I can see maybe 25-50 yards.I have also read some reviews complaining about the sensitivity of the sensor. I did not have any issues. I tested it and it didn't detect me until I was maybe 35-50 feet away. Maybe this is because of how I have it mounted but cars going by on the road (we live in the country & have a gravel road) do not cause it to go into bright mode.If I could give this extra stars, I would. It's a solid product for the price and I plan to buy more.Update [11/18/2020] - All lights still work as they did when purchased. I do not believe I have touched any of them since the day I hung them up. I have purchased even more at this point. Still feel good about this purchase.

I thought, perhaps wrongly, that I was ordering new lights. Both lights had what looked like tree pollen in the plastic details as well as some light scratches on the back side when opened. Having said this, they did charge up fully and worked as expected. These lights are by far the best money I've spent for solar light applications . I use these in my remote areas as well as when I disperse camp. My first purchase of this product was 5 years ago and they still work flawlessly. I'd give 5 stars but I believe these were a returned product. I currently have 8 of these lights.

I bought these Aootek solar lights back in 2019, and honestly, they’ve been amazing. They've survived all kinds of weather and still work just as well as they did on day one. The brightness is great, the motion sensor is reliable, and I really like having different mode options. I just bought two more sets to add light to other areas around the house. Super easy to install and totally worth it.

I've ordered several of these. They are inexpensive and they work. I set mine to stay off until movement is detected. This allows the battery to last much longer and lights up the area when needed. I am on the Board of my condo neighborhood and I convinced the Board to approve these useful, non-obtrusive lights to improve safety and security, especially in the backs of our units.

Perfect for under my high deck. Looks nice and was very easy to hang up. Only 2 screws to mount them.. The size was about the size of the deck pole, so we hung them on the poles. They lit up quite a lot at night. Also has option to use all night one as motion only. Solar powered .they are very sturdy too.

These are weather and waterproof. Working flawlessly exposed to the environment. Similar product almost identical failed when rain leaked into the item. Returned the faulty ones for these. Got more items for less individual cost. Recommended for hassle free security lighting. 👌

I hoped these would be a good replacement for my older ones but only 2 of the 4 worked so 2 ok and 2 disappointed
