Maypole MP9731 Removable Security Post, yellow, 75 cm x 15 x 13.5

Very solid. 30 minutes to install. Its a cheap padlock, serves its purpose, and can be upgraded. Overall very pleased.

The post is sturdy and appears well madeBright yellow, basic but should do it's purposePadlock is absolutely useless, pointless, broke on first operation of key, now won't lock at all, budget for a new padlock as per the other reviews.

Works as expected, simple to install with a bag of postcrete, very solid.Just what you need to secure a trailer.

This post is brilliant, people thought I had concreted in a mug at first when I first set the base in place!Get a decent lock, we all know this one, I got a Britanium one from Amazon with high security keys, together with the hitchlock on the caravan, it's going no place without the keys.Hardest part is digging the hole in concrete!

The pole itself seems to be OK once cemented into the ground. It is secure enough to deter the casual thief however a more determined one could easily remove it so not wise to rely on this device itself. A hitch look that covers the bolts is also required or captive bolts are another option. As for the included padlock, cheap quality as you can see, less than 30 seconds with a decent cutting disc and it's defeated, wiser to invest in a better quality lock.

Simple to ground fix and whilst it won't stop a determined thief it does add to ones arsenal of deterrents. Great value for the money............oh and it comes with a a security lock which is an added bonus.

Beware, this is not a secure product. After spending a day digging a hole and concreting the post in, on first use the top fell off. This is not going to keep you trailer or caravan secure. I have a refund, I now need to dig out the concrete and order and refit a suitable replacement.

Does a great job although I purchased a more sturdy padlock.
