Very clever plant monitor, removes all the guess work out growing plants under varying conditions.
Really great way to look after your plants, sets up instantly recognises your plant by taking a photo precisely sets up the individual characteristics of a particular plant type, connects to the monitor the plant at 3 different depths in the pot, if its a small plant in a small depth pot you can turn sensors off/on a different depths till it's repotted into a bigger lot latter-on. absolutely love the daily monitoring simple green OK, amber advisory, and red you need to take action with lots of data added to the traffic light warning system, the weekly plant heath report messages sent to the phone let you how you plants doing and where you are things wrong and what you doing right in a more in depth detail report.

Doesn't work it's British
I had such high hopes for this but. As usual with everything made the support software is useless. Probe Doesn't work the app doesn't work what a surprise like all British innovations the ideas good but we need to sell the idea abroad for them to improve it and probably make it cheaper. I'll just have to return another disappointing British item and wait for the Chinese to make a good working version.Don't waste your hard earned money on junk like this. I thought this could be brilliant it does so many different things but it doesn't do fertiliser at all. So really it on doesn't do what they advertised it does.I try my best to look for British innovations 💡 and support British companies but this is exactly the reason we are forced to buy everything from ChinaBecause made in England means it won't work or last or in this case won't even connect to their own app . For £46 plus I expect it to work on the first time of use . Very disappointing product I expected more

After Initial Problem - Seems Great
Receive in a nice package. Batteries already installed and remove plastic tab to activate. Put the two part together as in the instructions. Placed in plant pot. Downloaded Apple app and tried to activate the wifi by holding the top as instructed - nothing. No lights, nothing. Tried adjusting the position, but still nothing. I took the two parts apart and then turned the device around and, it lit up and worked as described on the app. It initially misidentified my plant (it would be a good idea to have a 'disagree' button on this page, rather than having to keep going back a couple of steps) It is measuring the temperature, humidity and soil moisture as described. I will be trying it on a few other plants over the next few weeks and will update the review then. Apart from the initial starting problems, all is looking good so far.

Could be so much better
It's like they stopped working on designing this half way through product development, the potential this has is huge if a couple of extra sensors were included I.e ph and EC. Missed opportunity by the manufacturer.

A happy avocado plant! Highly recommended sensor.
I bought this on something of a whim, as we were going away for two weeks and wanted our 5 year old, home grown from seed, avocado plant, to survive watering from friends who were visiting the house each day to look after our cats. The avocado plant was grown as an educational experiment with our daughter's, but turned into a unexpected success and is now 6 feet tall and thriving. So the thought of losing it to people watering it incorrectly, too much, not enough, was worrying, as silly as that sounds. So, after some research, I found the Vortex Vitality Vprobe. 20 or so reviews seemed alright, but not that many, which was a little concerning. Hence this purchase being a whim.Having been using it for 3 or 4 weeks, I'm more than happy. The app recognised my plant being an avocado plant from a photo I took! I didn't expect that! Whilst it was a little fiddly to initially set up the three-level-depth water sensors and weekly reports on light levels, etc, have provided me an insight I never expected. I know when to water, how much, and also that I need to water more deeply for the roots.I'd utterly recommend this to someone who has a "valuable" plant and wants to really look after it! I'm really very happy I did buy this, the whim was worth it. It's a great smart sensor and product from a small company. Great going! Well worth the money!

Batter than I expected!
I was going into this product with pretty low expectations, and with some initial issues with connecting to WiFi I wasn't feeling much better about it.But... After a week of usage I got a very extensive plant report explaining about the light levels being too low, the soil needing a deep watering, and a whole bunch more information about what it had discovered and its recommendations. Very useful.Overall? I think it's easy to use once it's up and running, provides great insights, and lots of great functionality. For the fellow nerds out there, you can also access the API to get the information in third party applications like Home Assistant. Maybe you can link this with some automated watering. My only 'complaint' would be to make sure you check the product dimensions first as it's bigger than I thought it'd be. Luckily I had a large plant anyway.Currently ordering more for other plants!

Waste of money
Doesn’t connect 9 time out of 10. When it does it say the moisture is low when it’s dripping wet. Waste of money, don’t bother wasting you money.
