I live in an area where the water is very hard, and I’ve always had concerns about its quality. This water quality tester helped me a lot — it’s easy to use, accurate, and gave me a clear idea of what I’m actually consuming. Thanks to it, I now know when I need to filter my water and how it affects my skin and health. Highly recommended!

Water Testing Kit
The instructions are simple and easy to follow, even for someone with no prior experience. It analyzed a wide range of contaminants, including lead, chlorine, hardness, and more. The results were clear and easy to read, and I appreciated how quickly I got them. I think it's something we should have at home to regularly check the quality of the water we're using. It's a good price for the number of test strips it comes with.

Works well
The strips were pretty easy to understand after trying them a few times. My only issue was that the water would sometimes run across the strip if I didn't set it down fast enough which caused a few of the colors to get mixed, so I would have to do it again. But all in all, they work great and they helped me get cleaner tap water by understanding what kind of filters I needed.

Not sensitive enough for EPA lead test
Easy to use. Just dip in water, and in less than a minute, compare the strip to the colors on the bottle to get your results. However, I'm testing for lead, and this kit is not accurate enough to align with EPA recommendations. However, if you get any reading higher than the lowest level on this test strip, then you know your water is bad (for lead). So I think this can be useful for a positive test, but may not be sensitive enough for a negative test.In the United States, the EPA set the maximum allowable concentration of lead in public drinking water at 15 mcg/L (micrograms per liter).15 mcg/L is equal to 0.015 ppm, or 15 ppbEven for kits that test down to 4 ppb, that's still not sensitive enough to meet EPA guidelines for children. The EPA has set a Maximum Contaminant Level Goal (MCLG) of zero for lead in drinking water, recognizing that no level of lead exposure is safe for children.

Misleading search terms getting people killed
DO NOT BUY IF TESTING FOR LEADMy city recently found lead in service lines. I bought these assuming the search term “lead test strips” would be sufficient. I was wrong. The lowest lead level this detects is 600 times the EPA’s action level/dangerous levels of lead. My body getting sick from lead poisoning would tell me more about how much lead is in the water than these strips.Amazon is evil for allowing this to come up if one is searching for strips to test the amount of lead in their water. Because I’m not a plumber or don’t work for the water company or the EPA, I didn’t know this.
