The best tool I never knew I needed but now don't want to be without
I've never much liked carrying multi-tools because the blades on them suck compared to a good high quality folding pocket knife. I resisted carrying both a pocket knife and a multi-tool because it just seemed like ridiculousness to have a bunch of crap on my belt. I really like Wharncliffe blades but I often find myself needing a blade with a belly to it so I started carrying two pocket knives, one Wharnie (my current EDC Wharnie is a Kansept Main Street) and one drop point (like a Civiv Praxis) but that it seemed a little nutty loading my pocket with two full size EDC knives especially since all I was getting for the extra effort was a single blade I don't use often. I decided to if was going to carry two things, might as well get more bang for the buck by carrying a multi-tool with a drop point blade that has some belly and get some other tools in the process so I looked online for a sheath just for a multi-tool and I stumbled across this carrier and immediately liked it.Once it arrived I dropped my Stanley multi tool and my Main Street into it and ordered a quality screwdriver, tactical pen and flashlight.Having these tools on my hip has saved me countless trips to and fromy truck as I carry out my daily work in the trades, especially when tackling one-off tasks where I'd really prefer not to lug my 25 pound tool bag with me.I should have done this a long time ago.

Good size, looks nice, seems sturdy!
I bought this because I wear Levi’s to work everyday and my pockets are full enough. In my “belt-pouch”, I keep a cheap multitool, an Olight Arkfeld, a small folding knife (either the Gerber Lite folding utility knife or the Baby Banter), a metal pen with a clip, and I’ll sometimes attach my key leash to the metal clip.I really like how much weight this takes out of my pockets. All I carry in my jeans now are my cell phone and a front-pocket wallet. Everything else that I need is right on my hip, at the ready. As a result, my pants are even more comfortable.I’ve been using it daily and it’s not showing any unusual wear. Just the normal scratches (patina?) that leather gets. The stitching is very strong.Sometimes I take it off because there’s a slim chance someone could mistake it for a holster if I’m wearing a jacket, hoodie, or outer-flannel, but that’s really only in sensitive environments that I don’t want to deal with getting asked about it. Even then, I just drop it in my bag and know that all my highest use items are right at the top of the bag and in the exact same place. It’s really great for my uses in I.T. It saves me countless trips to my truck or wherever I left my tool-bag. I’m able to tackle most unexpected issues that pop-up with a good flashlight and a multitool. I mostly keep the knife on there for opening boxes, bags, zip-ties, and cutting through some shrink wrap and insulation.I paid about $27 for this but it’s closer to $22 now. I think it’s worth it. Just don’t expect to be able to wear it with a thin, dress-belt. It will scratch the highly finished leather and be a little uncomfortable because the belt is too narrow. In my opinion, even with a dress-belt it’s still better than trying to keep all that stuff in your pockets. It works and looks fine with khakis or Dickies-style work pants, too. The thicker and wider the belt, the better the fit and weight distribution. If you work in a trade that needs a real tool-belt then this isn’t for you. But if you use a bag or box with specialized tools and don’t carry it into every room you go, you’ll probably really appreciate this thing. You still have your back-pockets to hold a few screwdrivers, pliers, drill-bits, and screws. If I need a tape measure for a task, I will usually move the knife to my fifth pocket and clip the tape measure on where the knife usually goes or clip it to the other side of my belt.If it means anything, I’m a relatively tall guy, so it may appear more noticeably on those who are shorter in stature. I don’t think I’d let that turn me off to it, though I can’t really say for sure. It’s not small but it carries very well.If I’m driving a very long distance I might take it off if I’m using a vehicle with smaller seats. In that case it’s easier (and more comfortable) to just remove my belt for the trip and put it back on when I get out. In a truck or larger, American, fleet-type-car it doesn’t interfere with the seat-belt.I hope this is helpful to someone.

A must buy.!!!
High quality.!! I was honestly shocked at how nice this thing is. The pockets give you a lot of play for wider lights. While still maintaining its structural integrity.

built tough but
This is a nice belt attachment, built well, of thick leather --my issues with it are it's bulkiness (I carry around 7+lbs of crap around my waist daily as a maintenance worker) and stiffness -- I think over time some of the stiffness will work itself out, but, when loaded with multitool, (a gerber, which it holds well) flashlight (which i'm still scared to consistently keep on it, as i'm afraid it will fall through and get lost) and, say, a screwdriver or small wrench - well, i suppose like any belt carrier, it just feels like a big wad of heaviness in one location. This might just be a personal gripe and me just getting used to having one belt location with a lot of stuff as opposed to 3-4 separate tool holsters on your person.

Good but be careful of the D-ring
The leather has relaxed a bit making it easier to use. However 3 months in of use nearly on the dot the D ring has failed. Which makes carrying all the keys for my job a bit of a pain. If they sold a new d ring id just add it on. I will continue using it and looking for a fix for the d ring for now.I carry an arkfield ultra, a leatherman wave, pen, milwaukee switchback, and a large radio on it. Yes its bulky but so far it has held together. A few friends have asked about it to get one for themselves.

Amazing. And can set down with it
Took me a couple months to buy this cause I wasn’t for sure. If when I sat down, it would stick me in the side or if it would carry my two pocket knives, a pen and then like the Gerber plier that has all the extra tools and it is amazing well worth it. I have it on my right hip and I can still get my wallet out of my jeans.
