Open pollinated is not necessarily organic, which requires paying for certification, which not every grower does. Not even growers who qualify. That being said, nothing is said about these seeds being organic. If you do get them, just grow them out naturally or organically and harvest those seeds. I have not had any reaction (I am chemically sensitive) to plants grown from non-organic seeds, as I am not eating the seeds. The sprouted plants draw nutrients from my soil, which is pesticide and chemical free as much as it can be that in a suburban environment in a mid-sized town.

It's a super food. High in vitamins and minerals. Has a great flavor. Use in soups, salads, replace cilantro in salsa. Be aware that it needs a good flow of water. Watercress is native to North America and grows wild most anyplace where there is running water year round. Unfortunately it is not found in stores anymore.
