Looks nice :)
It's nice and what I expected for the price paid. It should be attached to the wall (it a bit wobbly if not), but if you dont have children or pets, it seems to be ok even without attaching it to the wall.Putting it together is a bit challenging (it came with a tool but the wrong type of tool, so I used my own). But if you take a minute to figure out the instructions it's not that hard once you get the hand of it.It does the job I wanted and looks good.

Solid and useable, though a bit of a pain to put together
Firstly, and most importantly, it's a great bookshelf... bookcase? Whatever it's called. It looks stylish without drawing too much attention to itself, its color is inoffensive for many different styles of room, and it's perfect for holding many different sizes of books - I've previously had issues with bookshelves that are too small, and it's hard to get bigger ones that aren't just an open-top shelf that you screw or nail into a wall, but I prefer to not do that as my tastes for how I want to orient my rooms changes sometimes. So this was a good compromise for me.Now, the process to put it together isn't exactly the most fun DIY I've ever had to do. I've put together a few things in my time, but I wouldn't call myself a DIY person, and so maybe for somebody experienced in DIY, you could put this together in 20 minutes, but it took me a fair amount longer than that due to instructions that could be a bit more clear, and a few unlabelled parts. They give you a screwdriver (which can be altered to work on both sizes of screw being used, which I only found out when that was too late and got my own - but this is entirely on me for being stupid) but I would recommend using your own electric screwdriver if you have one, as there's a lot of screwing to do.The assembly gives you an option to attach it to a wall, and I would recommend you do so if at all possible if you're putting heavy books on it. I can imagine it will hold your Harry Potter collection and similar sized books with no issue, but if you start putting larger books (textbooks, etc) on it, the centre of mass of the bookshelf tends to go to places that are inadvisable at best, and painful at worst - AKA, when it falls directly onto you. The strength of the bookshelf's tiers themselves seem sufficient to hold even quite heavy books, so that's not an issue - just the falling over part. So attach it to the wall if you're planning on using it for your course books. As the instructions give you the option and parts to attach it to a wall, though, this isn't an negative statement or anything, just a friendly warning to other students/professors in similar positions to me. If you can't attach things to your wall and you want to hold heavy books, then either get creative with weighing it down, or choose another bookshelf. But overall, I like it a lot and it's very cool.

Not as i though it would be
Thick enough but as much as i wanted , when i actually had it really don't find it useful or handy. It seems to take a lot of space and whatever you have on it could be better in couple of drawers without having to be so visible and ... messy. It leans a little bit to the front so could be a bit instabile at some point and is not really anything wrong with it it s just ... i would prefer something more compact next time

Not ideal as a free standing unit
Screw holes lined up well when assembling., although the base assembly instructions not the clearest.Weight of books when fully loaded does cause the unit to bow forward but that’s why there is a screw hole for you to fix the item to the wall.It takes the weight of the books well and we have a large number of heavy cook books on the unit.It is attractive and a different and neat way of displaying books

Droopy spine - leans forward - not freestanding
The back is attached in 2 halves - the top half leans forward and looks like it will snap in 2 - even if only very light to no books in the top half. Tried tightening the screws, it didn’t help. Doesn’t stand straight if you put anything in the top half of the shelf.
