These poles are very easy to set up and put into the ground. They are also easy to creatively hide them in the yard if you have trees as I do. You can use the tree as additional support to keep the poles straight and secure.If your lights are extremely heavy I would suggest using wood instead of these poles as the weight of the heavy lights will try to pull on them unless you secure them to a solid surface. Lightweight lights are fine.

The product I received was clearly not even close to 10ft. It was closer to 7 ft from tip to top. Discovered that we only received the pieces for one pole with two bases and topsUpdated: the company reached out and is sending a new set. These poles are holding up but they are hollow so you can't put too many strands hooked up together on them because it might get too heavy for them.

Have held up great in Indiana weather. They fit perfectly around my deck. I am excited to use the lights this summer.

These would work better if you could anchor them to maybe a deck or something because once you add any weight (like lights) they bend under pressure.

One of the worst products I've ever purchased on Amazon. Not suitable at all for the purpose advertised. The poles are flimsy and assemble poorly, resulting in a wobly mess even without the lights. And to top it off the delivery was late. Stay way.
