Made well and it is a great item in the kitchen to drain fat off from bone broth or soup broth… Works wonderfully!!!

This fat separator performs its intended function very well. Simple to use, well made, and easy to clean. The moderate price of the item is an added bonus. The manufacturer did a good job on this one.

I’ve had a fat separator for many years but it was the kind that had a spout at the bottom and you had to carefully pour out the “good stuff” from the fat. It worked OK but when I saw this Separator with the spout on the bottom and a push button to release the gravy, I immediately put it on my Christmas Wish List. My sister-in-law saw it and put it on her list also.I’ve used it several times now and it works perfectly!! I also like the fact that it’s 4 cups. Sometimes, with my old separator, I had to do the work twice in a row because it was only 2 cups.My problem is that the company did a really bad job with directions regarding how to clean it. There was only a slip of paper and on it they tell you that the lid and the container are dishwasher safe – a good thing because the dishwasher will do a better job getting rid of the grease. But there is no guidance regarding how to do this. I sent an email to the company and got a response back. The first one repeated the fact that you have to clean separately…. Duh!! But they gave no directions how to do it. It was only as I was looking at the Amazon page again to see if I could find some guidance that one of the pictures showed the handle with the plug attached separate from the container!! The thing unscrews!! Easy. It would have saved me a lot of hassle if they just told you that in the directions.I wrote back to the company, and they responded with a video that shows that. But this video wasn’t in the Amazon page – just customer videos which I typically don’t watch.Vondior – you have a great product. Please update your product directions that are included with the item.

I love how easy it is to separate gravy with this tool! The clear plastic is very sturdy, and I like that there is a strainer on top so I only have to get one thing dirty when making gravy. The parts all come apart so they can be washed easy and most of them can go in the dishwasher. The remaining pieces are quick to wash up in the sink.I can pour hot gravy in the container and it held up to the heat just fine. Just be sure you get the silicone piece seated correctly before pouring in the gravy or you’ll have a mess on your hands. For the price I think this little kitchen tool is a great value and I don’t mind keeping it around or having it take up space. Only regret was that I kept putting off purchasing it and separating gravy the hard way.
