I get migraine attacks all the time, these are awesome to keep by your bed in case you wake up at midnight with a headache. They are super cold and very sticky, my skin even had very thick moisturizer and it stuck to my face and did not come off for many hours, it stayed cool too and go rid of my headache. There is a very strong minty smell which could bother some people, I certainly could do without the smell.

These are effective at making my skin feel cold; good for pain/discomfort relief They don't do too much to reduce core body temperature, though; a wet lukewarm cooling cloth would work better for that. The cooling sensation comes from the menthol and borneol "false-flagging" a cold feeling to receptors in your skin, similar to the "icy" part of IcyHot. They do provide some evaporative cooling, though, in the form of water and glycerin in the hydrogel -- it works sort of like a long-term artificial sweat.It shouldn't be used if you're already sweating; the gel will have trouble sticking and you may make a mess. Be careful to ensure this does not get in your or your child's eyes (they should be old enough that they'll listen when you tell them not to stick their fingers in the gel)! After use, where the gel stuck to should be gently wiped clean, again to ensure it doesn't get in someone's eyes. If it does get in the eyes, just flush thoroughly (gently) with lukewarm water and try not to touch or rub it; it's not poisonous and won't result in long-term vision loss by itself (it's just the rubbing/touching that's the risk).

Love these. We use them all the time. My son gets headaches a lot, and sometimes it’s just easier to use these so he can still move around a play. Great for road trips. Had to use on his knees for knee pain and it worked. Also great for fevers. We always have these and definitely recommend to always have them with younger kids.

Heat wave came in pretty bad. We used them. After little bit of sweat. They fell off.It was cold and great idea.

I HATED these. They're a horrifically wet/sticky consistency. They stink of chemicals, and my skin burned where I used them (and I'm 25! I couldn't imagine putting this on a kid!)! I bought these because the BeKool brand was expensive, but now I get it. I'll NEVER use these again. They didn't even really cool me off - just burned my skin! They also don't stick to skin very well because of the liquidy consistency.
