Q: will a nalgene bottle fit inside?

Just measured with caliper. Measures 3 15/128" inside diameter....which is 1/128" smaller than 3 1/8". Description says 16oz nalgene nests inside. Bought the nalgene 16oz narrow mouth sustain bottle and it does NOT nest inside the 375ml toaks cup. Nalgene measures 3 27/128".

Negative. They are the same diameter.

Q: Will Sno Peak hot lips work with this cup?

Yes, perfectly. I use the Snow Peak hot lips on the cup all the time. Also, Batch Stovz makes a lid for the Snow Peak 450 that fits perfectly on the Toaks 375.

Q: Is the 3-1/8" measurement the inside diameter or the outside, taken with the lip included? I'm trying to figure out if it'll nest over the 27oz klean

It's the interior measurement. With the lip the measurement is 3-3/8" -- I tested out my 27oz Klean Kanteen and it does fit inside this cup. It's actually fairly loose so you may need to pad it a bit with something or it will clank around. Using the orange soft case between the Kanteen and the cup makes a nice snug fit. For the record, the larger TOAKS pots can fit the larger Klean Kanteens (eg; the 40oz can fit within the 750ml). The larger bottle in the larger pot nests tighter than the cup and the smaller bottle.
