The Word of Promise Audio Bible—New King James Version, NKJV: Complete Bible

This has to be one of the best purchases I've ever made. It makes the Bible come alive. It draws the full metal picture of what's going on at the time and makes you want to listen to several cd's over and over before you move on to the next one. The different voices makes it come alive in a way i've never heard before. This has to be one of the best gifts you could ever buy for anyone. For some people, it's extremely difficult to set aside time to read the Bible. And this is the very next best thing. It's way easier to listen to the word then read it and it helps you remember.It's so much better in my opinion.

This audio is so awesome I'm addicted to it. Very easy to listen is beautiful sound effects and music in the background and having the variety of voices.

An incredible blessing from God. I love the dramatized version with the music and the sounds in the background. Yet it keeps the scripture fully intact and nothing is modified. This is wonderful for listening in my car or while I sit on my patio in the sun. It is an awesome tool for learning and knowing scripture. Not only should we listen to the scripture but we should read it as well.

This is awesome. Bible comes to life. Kind of like the old radio shows back in the days. Great to know which actors are Christians-following their movies. For those who struggle reading their bibles-this is a great option. Put it on during chores, quite time, morning coffee, night downtime....

I recently added the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Holy Bible from Thomas Nelson/Zondervan to my Kindle library. I am very pleased with it.This Kindle edition of the “NKJV Holy Bible” is excellent. The translation is based on the same ancient texts as the great King James Bible (KJB), upon which it is based. Although the NKJV’s English is modernized, it remains glorious and majestic; I can hear echoes of the poetry and cadences found in its ancient and venerable forebear.This NKJV Kindle edition’s text is rendered in verse-by-verse format for ease of reading and verse memorization. The text font is fully adjustable to different sizes and styles within all my Kindle apps and devices.This “NKJV Holy Bible’s” supplemental information includes hyperlinked footnotes, translator’s notes, and references at the end of each chapter; and eight hyperlinked articles explaining the major sections of the Bible. All I have to do is click/touch a hyperlinked verse number, and a box pops up with an applicable reference, footnote, or article. In a like manner, many words are hyperlinked to an excellent A-Z Concordance. Navigation through the “NKJV Holy Bible” is simple and straightforward. I can navigate to a specific book and chapter (but not a specific verse) through an excellent drop-down menu.This wonderful “NKJV Holy Bible” works well with the Kindle apps on all my devices. The “NKJV Holy Bible does initially loads a bit more slowly than I prefer, but once it’s loaded, it responds to all my inputs quickly and reliably.I like the “NKJV Holy Bible, ebook” a lot. Highly recommended.

If I didn’t have my glasses it would be a struggle to read it. I showed it to a friend and she had to squint to read the wording. 6pt font if it was at least a 9pt font that would have been a little better. I didn’t realize how small the letters were until after receiving it. Aside from that, it’s a great way to grab and go. It literally fits in my mini backpack and my pocket book.

The Bible is the one book I've struggled to sit down and read. This audio version makes listening to The Word much easier. I don't struggle on pronunciations and feeling overwhelmed.

So handy and easy to carry.
