These are worth the expense. They are awesome for files without the side slippage or faulty bottoms of the wide bottom hanging files. Also great for the fuel cards and smaller pieces that I infrequently issue and don't have drawer space for. Additionally, being able to pull them out by the cut out handles makes pulling files quicker and easier than the wide bottom files I've used in the past without spillage!

So pros... I’m a preschool teacher who was trying to store various crafts (the cutout pieces that the kids will then glue together) in my filing cabinet. I still keep the individual pieces in ziploc bags, which I then put into the folders. I don’t have to worry about them falling out of the sides like a normal hanging folder.Cons... very bulky. The sides don’t seem very sturdy. Because the sides fold in, you actually lose storage space, and regular pieces of construction paper don’t actually fit in there very well.They work for what I got them, but not as well as I’d like. Also they are quite expensive in comparison (especially on a preschool budget!). However, they’ve definitely helped me organize all my crafts for my classroom, which was the end goal.

When trying to insert the file tabs the slots will not allow the tabs to slide in. Even if you get it in there is a 50% chance you will rip the folder at the slot. I am thinking this is run off from the glue. These are expensive and one shouldn't have them refusing to take a file tab.A minor complaint is that the hooks were bent on make of the folders. These also don't hang as much as they touch the bottom, for better or worse.

I would buy again

The big file pocket can hold a lot of files, such as yearly tax documents. It can be hung up too. Buy it again.

I love these hanging pocket folders. they are cleverly made so the sides don't get caught on the sidebar when lifting them out of a drawer. Other brand's sides don't go all the way up so they get hung up on bar when pulling the file out of hanging posititon.

Good product & priced right.

Keeps the papers inside the file so it's neat and self-contained. The only reason I gave four stars is because I can't fit file jackets inside the folder and Inhave used a lot of file jackets in the past.
