Awful to build. Pre-drilled holes are a joke!
I really hate to give negative feedback so positives 1st. Instructions are clear, wood is of a decent thickness so heavy and less likely to blow over.Okay now the not so good stuff. Whoever drilled the holes really needs new glasses. Some had been drilled twice a couple of mm apart creating a figure of 8. Some eg to fix the roof support to the table were not parallel to the edge therefore you miss the support on one side when you screw in from underneath. Some holes drilled a good inch away from where they needed to be.Also although holes were pre-drilled in the thinner/angled pieces there were no pilot holes in the thicker parts and nothing in the instructions to advise you to drill pilot holes 1stAnyway, I've managed to cobble it together although it's far from perfect. I bought this as a housewarming present to cheer up an elderly friend who is having to move house following 40years in her old home. Had I not needed it for this weekend, I'd definitely have sent it back!

Not weatherproof!
Less than two months in and the plywood base has warped and split. Clearly not weatherproof, which is pretty well unacceptable in a bird table, which tends to spend a lot of time outdoors. Unless we are expected to bring it indoors when it looks like rain... It's also very short, much lower than usual for birdfeeders, and has largely been of interest to pigeons, magpies and, on one occasion, a squirrel. I wouldn't buy it again.

Roof material?
It is advertised as having a slate roof. It looks more like “asbestos”roofing tiles to me! Can it really be asbestos? Please confirm this is not the case!

Assembly more difficult than it needed to be
The materials are good and the wood comes pre-drilled with holes for the screws so screwing it together is the only assembly required. However, there are no instructions - literally nothing in the box except wood and screws in little plastic bags. While it isn't a feat of intelligence to figure out which pieces of wood go where, there are three different kinds of screw and there are no instructions about which type of screw should be used for which connections. The result is that you can end up coming through the other side of some pieces of wood with screws that are too long because you've used the shorter screws in other places and now removing them would risk the solidity of the structure. Really annoying that such a nice and relatively expensive bit of kit comes with literally no instruction - how hard would it be to just add a diagram for which screws to use?

An attractive looking functional sturdy bird table
The bird table looks very good. On assembly there were a couple of drill holes which did not line up in the making, but it was soon rectified by drilling another hole. The table is sturdy and looks very pleasing in the garden. It has attracted several birds with the addition of nuts, worms and sunflower hearts

This is not a good product.
The item has only lasted for a short period of time due to the flat part where the seed is place being made of plywood. The wood has delaminated and broken up. The roof has fallen apart. The rest of the structure is ok because it’s made of solid wood not plywood. Unfortunately it’s too late to return the item, but I will have to replace the piece that has broken up. Unless the sellers want to send me another piece, ideally made of a more solid piece of timber.

Good item, quick delivery
I gave 5 stars for ease of assembly, for my other half it was no problem, but there are a lot of parts and for someone not into such things (me) it would be very difficult. It looks great, very sturdy and the birds accepted it straight away, this pleased me greatly.

Poor quality
Very disappointed with this. My husband has had to re-drill most of the holes as they weren’t lined up properly, got a couple of splinters along the way too.
