Medieval Warrior Leather Sword - Dagger Scabbard Frog

I picked this up for Texas Ren Fest. One of the best things about this frog is the angle your weapon hangs. Being in the shops and tight groups at the festival I never hit anything or anyone with my sword. Many others wearing baltrics however were whacking everyone around them. Adjusting the size is also very easy in case you wish to use the same frog for other swords. The leather strip was pretty dry, but that was fixed with some mink oil. All in all a great choice and a good price.

If you are looking for a great sword frog then look no further than this one. It has exceeded my expectations on all levels. It is cool looking, very durable with strong, thick leather and heavy steel fittings that are all bolted on and it has very tough and slip-resistant strings that allow it to adjust to almost any scabbard width. Holds the sword at the perfect angle to keep it from hitting the ground and gives for a nice draw. Absolutely amazing for the price— I highly recommend it.

Bought as part of a costume. Since I had a rapier, I knew that this would be something that might need reworking. I had to re-lace the frog, and wrap the scabbard with some rawhide before this fit. I am sure that a larger sword would require no work at all. Over all a good frog.

Used to hold a sword for a halloween costume last year. Worked great.

My son (14) loves all things midevil and we bought him this to go with a full size plastic sword. It is well made and fits every sword he owns perfectly by using the laces to adjust it.

Absolute rubbish. The lacing is leather, but the frog itself is cheap vinyl that started to peel after only a use or two. The hardware is decent, and the fact that the angle is adjustable is nice, but not when the frog itself falls apart so quickly. Don't waste your money.
