Keratin hair treatment (Forte XL Set)

I loved it and had changed my hair to better looking but I just wondered why it gives off from this solution some of dislike smoke specially it burning my eyes and feelt can't breathe well because of this smoke during applying it. Is that mean has percentage of formalin !!

Good bottle for someone with short hair. Works amazing. If you want to get rid of ecery curl in your hair, this is really the way to go

Having curly caribbean hair, I thought what appeared to be a specialty product would be the right fit. Don't buy this stuff, just don't. Despite adhering to the product warning to use in a well ventilated area, the fumes are excessively strong. My eyes and throat encountered significant burning sensation during the process. Both the hairdresser and I felt ill for 3-4 days afterwards.In hindsight I should've looked into this more. After speaking with Keratin Research's customer care team, I learned the product contains 2.5% formaldehyde. The strong solution is probably why it claims to be effective on curls but curls are delicate and your health is more important than manageable hair.I feel the hair community could benefit from being aware of the following things before deciding to use a keratin smoothing treatment:1. Keratin does not straighten hair by itself. It's responsible for strengthening hair by replenishing lost protein in the hair shaft which makes it more manageable as a result.2. A keratin blowout or hair smoothing treatment can say it's formaldehyde-free and but contain an inactive form of it - until heated. These forms are Methylene glycol, Formalin, Methylene oxide, Paraform, Formic aldehyde, Methanal, Oxomethane, Oxymethylene, Timonacic acid, Thiazolidinecarboxylic acid (OHSA Hazard Alert)3. Even after the keratin blowout setting period, every time you heat style your hair, you reactivate the formaldehyde and release toxic fumes.4. No matter how natural sounding a smoothing treatment claims to be, the finished sleek results you expect are from the chemical in the product while the natural ingredients are more of a buffer and conditioner.Aim for reducing the curl not removing it and that's where natural ingredients are the winners. Moving forward, I will gladly buy my own hydrolyzed silk peptide or liquid keratin to add to hair products I approve of.

Meine Freundin hatte eigentlich eine kaputte Naturkrause. Wir hatten damit gerechnet dass es bei ihren Afro Haaren ein paar Durchgänge benötigt, aber wir waren positiv überrascht das die Haare bereits nach dem trocken Föhnen richtig glatt wurden.Nach dem Glätt-Vorgang war von der ursprünglichen Krause nichts mehr zu sehen.Was geruchssensible Menschen besser beachten sollten: Das Glättungsbalm brennt in der Nase und in den Augen, auch beim Föhnen dampft es ab und zu stark was zu Reizungen führen kann.Ansonsten war die Anwendung sehr einfach, ich würde das Produkt so wieder anwenden.

Also nach bisheriger Erfahrung kann ich sagen- es tut, was es tun soll... nach der Behandlung sind die Haare glatt& bleiben dies vorerst auch.Durch meine Haarstruktur sahen sie bis zur ersten Wäsche danach etwas fettig aus (ähnlich wie nach einer Haarwachsanwendung bei Männern). Das legte sich jedoch nach der nächsten Wäsche, also keine Angst! Ich pflege die Haare danach trotzdem mit Keratin& Föhne und Glätte, da Keratin ja bekanntlich mit Hitze reagiert. Das Ganze klappt wesentlich entspannter und auch direkt nach dem Duschen lassen sich meine Haare viel leichter kämmen als zuvor. Meine Haare waren vorher eher die einer Vogelscheuche und super spröde. Das fühlt sich jetzt komplett anders an. Sie fallen auch viel weicher.Ich bin super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis!Der Weg dahin- für mich& meine Freundin DER HORROR!Fettestes Minus gibt es für die Anwendung! Was für eine CHEMIEKEULE. So schön das Ganze am Ende auch aussieht, seid euch bewusst, so gesund kann das alles nicht sein. Uns sind von den Dämpfen fast die Augen weggebrannt!! Der teuflische Geruch, der sich in allen Atemwegen ablagert (ja, das merkt man), verschwindet zum Glück, wenn man die Haare dann das erste mal wäscht.Wir haben uns bei der Anwendung Handtücher vor Mund& Nase gehalten, trotzdem hat das nicht unbedingt alles abgehalten.Meiner Ansicht nach- eine Anwendung alleine: VÖLLIG UNMÖGLICH! Ich war nicht mal in der Lage meine Augen offen zu halten und meine Freundin musste immer wieder Pausen einlegen, weil sie es nicht ausgehalten hat. An der Stelle kann ich euch eine Schwimmbrille für diejenige/denjenigen empfehlen. Das werden wir jedenfalls nächstes mal austesten.Am nächsten Tag roch immer noch alles nach Chemiekeule! Schlaft auf einem Handtuch oder legt etwas anderes zum Schonen von Möbeln oder dergleichen unter. Ich persönlich würde raten- geht nicht in die Öffentlichkeit! Mir war es echt unangenehm so penetrant nach Chemie-Keule zu riechen. Plant also lieber im Urlaub oder an einem freien Wochenende, wo ihr nur Zuhause seid für die Anwendung.Und besorgt euch Handschuhe für diejenige/denjenigen, der das alles aufträgt, ist vielleicht interessant, dass sowas nicht in der Lieferung enthalten ist.FÜLLMENGE - nach unserer Einschätzung reicht die Füllmenge der Flasche bei etwas über schulterlangem Haar für 3-4 Anwendungen.Persönliches FAZIT- das Endergebnis stimmt. Der Weg, erschreckend!Ich weiß nicht, welche Schäden Augen oder Atemwege von den Sachen davon tragen, aber... ich werd aus dem ersten Versuch lernen. Die Flasche wird wohl aufgebraucht.Im Vergleich zur Bio-Anwendung, welche ich bei mir in der Umgebung bei einers selbstständigen mit Zulassung dafür habe machen lassen, kann ich sagen: bisher ist der Effekt optisch ähnlich. Allerdings gab es bei der bio-Anwendung gar keine Gerüche oder Dämpfe oder Unverträglichkeiten. Insbesondere Menschen, die ohnehin empfindlich an den Atemwegen sind, sollten von dem Chemiezeug definitiv die Finger lassen!!Die Bio-Anwendung hat mich 200€ gekostet& hält ca. 6Monate. Da kann ich bei dem Produkt leider noch nichts zu sagen. Sollte die Flasche aufgebraucht sein, werde ich persönlich entweder mal einen afrikanischen Friseur austesten oder auf die Bio-Anwendung zurückkommen.

I am amazed at the results of this product. I went from dull tightly curly and frizzy hair to hair that is soft, shiny and frizz free. I wish I knew about this sooner. If you are looking to loosen your curls so they are more manageable then buy this product. I only needed to use 1/3 of the bottle and only did 2-3 passed with my flat iron (not the 7-12 that the instructions say) and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The only con are the fumes. It burns your eyes and makes you cough when you start blow drying but the pros dramatically outweigh this one con. Just make sure you're in a well ventilated area and you'll make it through.

Mi cabello es grueso y azabache para variar con mucho volumen. Es bueno leer las instrucciones antes de aplicarse y usar mascarilla y guantes pero sobretodo realizarlo en un área muy ventilada. El líquido arde un poco los ojos pero esta dentro de lo normal ya anteriormente me eh realizado alaciados en salón esta ves quise hacerla yo misma .El proceso completo fue con un total de 3 hrs. (Dentro del tiempo estimado ) así que normal siempre es así en el salón igual use la plancha titanium una azul de remington.

Product was decent. As the instructions suggest you should have a friend apply the product as the smell is very strong and can burn your eyes and nose. I would recommend a mask. I can definitely notice a difference in my hair. It is less frizzy and reacts to humidity a lot less. Not as good as the salons but a good deal for less then $50. Next time I would probably purchase the next strongest I have 3a/3b afro hair.

Trotz dass ich alles vergessen habe , wie Handschuhe und, die halbe Std Wirkzeit, habe ich ein supertolles Ergebniss. Stinkt gar nicht, aber ich habe bei offenem Fenster gemacht. Habe eine 50 J alte coloriertes Blondes Haar, also wie watte hat früher ausgeschaut und jetzt ist jung und glatt endlich. absolute empfohlenswert.

I love this product, used three days as advised on my hair. the final result after washing my hair was that it was really silky and smooth but i still had a bit of curly hair, my hair is mostly plain with just a few curves, but i suffer from frizz, so this product left my hair shinny, silky and smooth with no more frizz problems! love it!

I have been doing keratin for almost 10 years now. I have had it done from various salons. Some were good and some not so much. Thus time I decided to do it myself but I needed to find a good product. I was recommended Keratin Research. I must say it was amazing. I followed the procedure and the result was beautiful shiny hair. Most importantly it was very gentle on my hair. It did not cause any damage.

I've had this treatment done in a salon (using Liquid Keratin brand), and this was just as effective! I left it on for the 3 days, not sure how much of a difference that made. The salon treatment I had done irritated my scalp, but this one didn't bother me at all. Definitely do it in a ventilated area or take breaks as you blow dry it on.There was also enough in there for at least one more treatment and I have very thick hair down to my collar bones

Hola he probado la KERATINA que costó muy cara y pensé que el pelo iba quedar bien y que me duraría 3 meses y luego me doy retoque, pk yo llevo 5 años aplicándome keratinas ...Pero esta keratina Me quedó bien y en un mes ya no tengo keratina se cayó, y jamás me había pasado yo me la aplico sólo donde sale el pelo y cada 6 meses me doy un pequeño baño en todo el cabello pero esta se calló....En verdad me decepciona porque tiene un precio excesivo para que no sea permanente.

Amazing.... hair looks and feels great. I ended up washing the treatment out after 30 mins (not with shampoo just rinsed it off) then blow drying the hair and straightening

Strong scent. I inhaled the chemical while putting it on my hair and I felt my throat burnt! Now my tonsils are swollen with puss I had difficulty of breathing for a bit. Still observing what happens next. Did straighten my hair but some waves are left.
