Small Digital Clock - No Bells, No Whistles, Simple Basic Operation, Battery Operated, Alarm, Snooze, Light, Perfect for Desk, Shelf, Travel, Bedside, Black

I bought brand new, brand name alkaline batteries for this clock. Never used the alarm and only tested the light the first night to see if it worked. All checked out OK. Less than two weeks later I can't see the numbers during the day. Put in new batteries and the numbers re-appeared. I can't afford to run this "economical" clock as batteries are too expensive.UPDATE: The vendor contacted me and sent a replacement clock right out. This one seems to be working fine. Travelwey has the best customer service I could have imagined. Thank You Travelwey.

I can’t see the time at all .. if I put the light on, I still can’t see it. Piece of junk. The company sent me a new clock and by heaven it works. .. or at least I can see it a LOT better than the other one ... three cheers for them

I bough two other model clocks before settling on this one and I liked it so well I bought the battery operated one to carry in my car for that occasional nap. This alarm clock meets all my expectations meaning it is easy to read, easy to set the alarm and time, easy to adjust the brightness with a slide switch. It has a night light by taping the top bar which will also shut off the alarm when going off. The permanent alarm button is a bit difficult to find when still partly asleep but as I suggested taping the top bar turns it off but is a snooze button so red button on back must be pushed to permanently silence. I love both the plug in version and battery operated version. Nice size too.

No Bells, No Whistles is exactly what I wanted! As school is about to start, this was purchased as a replacement for my granddaughters broken alarm clock. Nice, small size, easy to set, numbers are large and easy to read. Alarm starts out slowly then builds to a louder, more rapid beep that definitely encourages you to get up! Nice price for such a perfect alarm clock!

The company refunded my money and sent me a new clock at no charge and so far , so good- it has worked every day!Original post: I’ve been using this most days since getting it a month ago and it works half the times I set it- maybe. Just looked it up to return and the window for returns closed yesterday! Guess I’m stuck with it now...

The price, look and the footprint for the alarm clock were exactly what I was looking for ... a basic alarm clock to wake me up for work in the morning.Unfortunately this clock was not able to perform this task. The alarm failed to go off 8 of the 10 days I tried it. The bell shaped icon was clearly displayed indicating the alarm would go off, but it never did. Tried several ways of resetting the alarm thinking I did something wrong, but no luck. I started setting a backup alarm after the 2nd time the alarm failed to go off.Also the back-lighting is so bright that it washes out the numbers on the clock that you cannot actually see what time it is ... you just get blinded by a bright blue light.Returned it for a full refund.

The first time I thought it was because I accidentally pressed the wrong button but the next day I literally watched it turn to the alarm time and not go off for three minutes. Will be returning and do NOT recommend.BUT After I requested a refund they asked if I wanted it replaced. Went for it and the second one also almost never goes off!

With so many gadgets these days, it is nice to find a simple piece of equipment. I purchased for my bathroom counter. I really like that the numbers are large, it has a thin profile and the dots in the middle do blink constantly. It is a nice understated clock that is there when I need it. Very happy with this purchase :)
