Excellent telescope
Bought for my grandson to view the moon and planets. Easy to set up. Image quality was good once focus was obtained. Clear views when stable on tripod. Also love the backpack to store scope, tripod and lenses safely.

Works well
Well packed, and looks very professional. Hubby happy with it. Says little hard to get focused but works well. Lightweight easy to put up and pack away. Perfect size, does not take up too much room and can sit to use. Comparison to the price off others it does seem worth them money

Great Telescope for Beginners – Fun and Easy to Use for family!
My sons love this telescope! They set it up in our dining room, pointing it outside towards the garden and sky, and it’s been a big hit. The 80mm aperture and 500mm focal length give super clear views of stars and planets, which is awesome for beginners. The tripod is sturdy, and the phone adapter makes it easy to snap pictures of what we see. Plus, the backpack is super handy for taking it on the go for stargazing trips. It’s a great starter telescope that’s fun for both kids and adults. Perfect for exploring the night sky!

Perfectly working telescope
Obviously... it doesn't work as good as The Webb Space one but it works brilliant as a telescope for the beginners, for those who wants to start their journey with watching the sky closer.I was truly surprised when I opened the box and I saw a back pack! All of the parts are inside it and you can take it easily somewhere out with you.I didn't manage to try all of the parts - yet- as when I tried it, clouds came around and I couldn't observe the sky any longer but for that 40 minutes I spent outside, I managed to set it up easily, and I could see nicely some space 'objects'.It's absolutely brilliant - it's going to be one of the gifts for my kids and I am sure a 100% that they will love it!100% Recommend!

Decent place to start
This 80mm refractor telescope is not a bad way to get into astronomy. In the box you get a basic backpack and the component parts of the telescope. Assembly is a lot easier than it first appears, I would estimate it took me 5 minutes to fully assemble to a working scope.Manufacturing quality is pretty decent, though there is no escaping the fact that it feels quite 'light' due to having a fair amount of plastic parts. The backpack is a means to pack the telescope away, however it will not really offer any meaningful protection in the event of a drop or substantial bump. Once packed is is fairly petite in size and gives no cluie as to its final form.In use the telescope behaves as I would have expected, the tripod does raise quite high - but I would recommend anyone wanting to do some proper night sky watching has a chair ready and adjusts the height of the telescope to the chair.Using a manual telescope does require a little patience, I didn't find the finderscope to be especially useful and found that eyeballing it and a little patience bore more fruit in the eyepiece. On my first outing I had almost perfect conditions and some great moon views and though I couldn't quite see the moon landing site - this telescope can really give some good detail. Unfortunately I did not remember to take any photos. The night I took photos for review, of course the moon was below the horizon by the time I set up and the majority of visible planets were not in a great position. So I took a photo of of Arcturus, 4th brightest star in the night sky. Not the best camera work I have done, but will have to suffice for now. Focussing is easy enough. At a price of £129.99 less a £10 voucher this does contain everything you would need to begin your astronomy journey and does represent fair value for money, however I would not necessarily call this a 'pro' set - but maybe they were just meaning the tripod - which is sufficient. This doesn't mean it's a bad kit, it does do exactly what it promises and you can get some decent shots with it. You do need a little patience and a somewhat steady hand. You also need a good knowledge of the night sky or a decent app for your phone to know what you are looking at. As a beginner kit it is fine.

Excellent telescope for beginners and intermediate users
Excellent telescope from Horox. This is a really well made telescope that is affordable and easy to install. It's perfect for beginners and I'm really impressed with the product.I ordered this for my son who's fascinated with Space, it's an upgrade from his starter telescope and he's absolutely over the moon with it. Setup took around 15 minutes and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. It comes with a carrying bag, tripod, a couple of eyepieces, scope, smartphone mount and instruction booklet. The lens aperture is 80mm by 500mm and when you manage to steady it properly the results ate amazing. We've been fortunate to witness some beautiful night skies recently with the crisp clear cloudless nights and the telescope has worked really well in these conditions.Pricewise it offers good value for money and I personally believe it's worth investing in a telescope like this if you are interested in stargazing compared to a cheaper alternative. The build quality is impressive and the smartphone integration works reasonably well.
