The Body ShopGinger Scalp Care Conditioner, 13.5 Fl Oz (Vegan)

I am not one who washes my hair every day. It is more like once, maybe twice, a week. Every winter, I get a dry, itchy scalp, and I am constantly scratching my head to the point of dandruff or some kind of dermatitis that causes flakes in my hair. And every winter I try to find products to alleviate this issue. This year, I did a coconut oil treatment and while I waited, I went on Amazon and found this and the shampoo. After reading the reviews and doing some quick research, I decided to try it. It arrived the next evening. That was a couple of weeks ago. I have washed and conditioned my hair about three times with this product and it has made such a difference. I do not itch anymore. I am seeing less and less dandruff. The smell is a little different than I am used to, but it isn't unpleasant. Had I known about this, I would have tried it a long time ago. If you battle the same problems I do, just buy it. It's not too expensive and the relief I feel is sooo worth it!((I wrote the same review for the shampoo.))

I bought this conditioner along with the Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo, hoping it would help with my dry, itchy scalp—and overall, it’s a solid product. It’s not your typical rich, heavy conditioner, but that’s actually a good thing if you’re trying to avoid build-up near the scalp.It has the same strong ginger scent as the shampoo—very herbal and refreshing. I personally like it, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, it might be a little much.This conditioner is more about scalp care than deep hydration, so don’t expect a super silky finish like a salon-style conditioner. That said, it leaves my hair feeling clean and manageable without weighing it down or making my roots greasy.A few tips if you’re thinking of trying it:Focus on applying it to your scalp and upper roots if that’s where your dryness is. It’s designed to help the scalp, not just your ends.Use a richer conditioner on your ends once or twice a week if you have thicker or drier hair. This one’s very lightweight.Rinse well—since it's light, it washes out easily, but you still want to make sure it’s fully rinsed so your scalp feels fresh.I took off one star because the hydration level might not be enough on its own for some hair types, but as a scalp-focused conditioner, it does a great job. If you're already using the ginger shampoo, this is a no-brainer addition.

This is probably my favorite shampoo, which is saying a lot because I try a lot of different brands and don't feel loyal to any particular one. It's effective (takes care of flakes and scalp build-up like it says it will) and makes your hair feel great. It smells great (like real ginger, not fake or perfume-y). Doesn't leave hair greasy OR dry–truly is a "balancing" shampoo. The conditioner is great too–just the right amount of moisture without weighing hair down. I hope they never change the formula because it's a great shampoo for those of us who tend to need something purifying and balancing but don't want our hair to feel stripped of all life. :)

I use this conditioner along with the shampoo to stop scalp dryness, especially in the winter. I originally purchased this from The Body Shop but found Amazon to be cheaper with quicker delivery. I only use a small amount every day and never have scalp itchiness anymore. Since you only need to use a little bit, a bottle of each has lasted about a year. I highly recommend this product.

Great shampoo for hair growth and to stimulant hair growth, pleasant scent , makes hair very soft

I bought this after I bought and used the same type of shampoo. It feels exhilarating to your scalp and leaves your hair manageable. Smells nice but not flowery or fake.

The texture was not very thick compare to my other conditioners, which definitely affect the performance. The good side it’s that it has a natural and lovely ginger smell.
