My daughter is really trying to eat naturally and find natural home remedies to many health issues that her family may be going through. She has tried to look online for articles and such, but there was nothing she found that had a large compilation of natural ways to help her when treating her family of the ailments they experience.I saw this book and asked her if she would be interested in it. She said it was exactly what she was looking for, especially because it contains remedies that may no longer be used today. I was happy that it had 250 home remedies and was full of color, instead of black and white photos to help understand the book's contents.I really like that this book, "Forgotten Home Apothecary" has a nice binding so that it can last a long time with lots of use. It explains things well and in an easy to understand manner. Before giving it to my daughter, I showed it to my husband. He spent a couple days looking at it and now he wants one too.I might just get the book for each of my children, that's how strongly I feel about the benefits of this book.

This book is good for a novice in working with herbs & spices. I ended up giving this to my daughter who will get better use out of it. as I already had knowledge and recipes of my own a great gift for someone like I said, that is a beginner and learning how to create their own remedies. The book is well illustrated and simple to follow. It’s easily written for a child to follow, which is a great thing and I skill to get under their belt at a very young age. Learning to make your own concoctions and remedies is a great skill for everyone to have.

Absolutely beautiful book and the content is amazing. This is what our ancestors used, no pharmaceuticals back then, just natural remedies that work WITH your body. Priceless information. Just make sure you stock up on the ingredients , it's not going to be what you have on hand for the most part..

At 46 I need to do better in lots of areas and this book has become like my Bible is to me,live by it. I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!!!! I wish I was taught to be healthier when I was younger,but when you know better you do better. Seems that I couldn’t wait to turn 18 then 21 and now I wish I could slow it all down,turn back the hands of time 🤦🏾‍♀️! Well when there’s literature out here like this,it’s never too late. Remember that everything is about consistency. Remain consistent and you can’t go wrong. Try not to stress,eat better,get adequate sleep,keep yourself hydrated,get a workout regiment that works FOR YOU,grab a pen and pad to keep up with what you’re doing and your progress and things will work out okay. I’m not saying it’s easy,I’m saying it’s doable. I’m excited about this journey 👏🏾 ❤️
