Was told this was a”new” product, was shipped to me in a damaged box AND it was a used and BROKEN product!!! So MAD beyond disappointed

This unit I received was identical to the unit I purchased and replaced several years ago. I finally had the time to drain the hot tub and replace the heater with this new one. NOTE: the faulty heater I removed was still working great but was leaking on one end from corrosion on the opposite end of the wires. I suspect the leak was from the corrosion of the steel screws holding the black end to the two tubes. Different Metals causing corrosion as 4 of the 6 screws were stainless steel and two screws were steel.After installation of the new unit the area around the sensors was leaking bad. After further troubleshooting and comparison to the old / faulty unit removed I found the O-Rings were not the proper size. (too small) I simply replaced the O-rings on the new unit with the old / faulty unit and everything is perfect.I suspect this is a factory assembly issue. Suggest you inspect your units presently in inventory.

It's leaks at one on the top sensor.
