Easy to clean sanitary glass pitcher.
Easier than the old Mr coffee tea brewer. Simpler and easier to clean.I use this daily for my Market Spice tea. Chugging the tea without sugar, sometimes I have to brew two or three times a day. I really like the glass pitcher. They need to offer additional pitchers at time of purchase.Well worth the money. No buyers remorse; would buy again in a heartbeat. Brand name so good for getting replacement parts.Highly recommended.

Works perfectly
Had this product for a while. Works well and keeping up with the abnormal amount of tea I drink. If the tea doesn’t come out right try different tea bags that was an issue I was having in the beginning.

Works great
I use mine as an iced-tea maker, but I don't use the ice thingy; i just use plain water in the pitcher, about 2" above the suggested water line. It does well, but I had to experiment with how much tea to use (I use Lipton black tea granules). If I use too much, the brewed tea turns cloudy quickly. I use about 1 level tablespoon, and that seems to work.

Serious safety hazard
The on off button doesn’t work, tried 2 different machine. This is a serious safety hazard. As soon as it is plugged in, it starts spewing boiling water. Only way to turn off is to pull the plug and get splashed with hot water.

Bought Sept 2020 (it's now Feb 2024) and it's perfect.
I know this is going to sound weird but I like to drink iced tea in the morning. I know, I know...:-) I used to buy TeJava. But then I thought there had to be a less expensive way. I saw this unit on sale for $19 and thought what the heck, lets give it a try. This is my routine: I buy organic tea bags, place 4-5 bags in the unit, set the brew sector to the 5th line. After the first brew is completed I add more water and, using the same tea bags, brew once again. This brings the tea to about the half way point in the pitcher. I then fill the pitcher with cold water and place in the fridge. Tea tastes great.I have not broken or cracked the glass pitcher in all this time. I do not fill it full of ice and I am careful when hand washing. The plastic lid has not warped as I hand wash it too.A great little unit that just works and has been for about twice a week for over 3 years.
