Rain Forest Coloring Book

I picked up this Dover coloring book (along with 12 others) for my 6 year old granddaughter who’s going to be studying nature more in depth as part of our homeschool. She has already looked through it and said she can’t wait to color in it with me! I have previously purchased over coloring books in the past for homeschooling with my youngest daughter who has since graduated. She still loves these coloring books and was so happy to see that her niece was going to be using them too! What I like best about these coloring books is that the pictures are so detailed and the artists are very talented.

We bought many coloring books this year. Some were expensive. Some not. This was from the inexpensive group, but the drawings are among the best. The images are very lifelike, and just come alive as you color. Good price. Beautiful nature and animal drawings.

This coloring book is one that I bought for myself when I ordered some others for my mother, who also likes to color. The pictures are beautiful! It has excellent detail and is challenging enough for us as adults but also allows for creative coloring techniques such as color blending. The front and back covers include color photos of two of the pictures to be colored inside the book, and there are a couple more color pictures inside, so in all, color pictures for four of the pages are provided to use as a guide for coloring them. At the bottom of each picture is some verbiage explaining what colors the items in the picture are supposed to be, although this is not really as helpful as seeing the picture in color. My only complaint about this lovely coloring book would be that, being a jungle book, about 85% of every picture is shades of green. After awhile, you long for other colors. If you feel duty-bound to color things in their natural colors (no purple and aqua leaves, for example), you may rather have a coloring book with a different subject.

Purchased many of these coloring books for my daughter and they are entertaining for her and educational. Great products.

Fantastic! Bought to aid in my gourd art. I can't wait to use some of the elements. Pictures are thorough and wonderfully thought out. Whatever your purpose in getting this book, coloring, inspiration or other, in my opinion, it's worth it.

Very cute pictures that are fun to color and learn from too.

Most pages have text at the bottom of the coloring page. This is bad if you wanted larger images to color. The images themselves are pretty good but not outstanding. I'd suggest for kids up to maybe 14. Older than that and they'd be bored (unless they are trying to fill in the blanks for a school project).

Great pictures, very detailed. A lot of fun. These are not for crayons or markers. I can't imagine using anything other than colored pencils. I color these with my 10 year old daughter but truly I love doing them too. Highly recommended!

Brilliant colouring book. The illustrations inside are of top quality. Not the new style of repeating patterns, and not overly fake cartoony style. Very realistic, set in great scenery. I have actually bought 10 copies to give as birthday gifts to my children's friends. Excellent quality product.

livret anglophone agrafé souple grand format ancien (1998) présentant 45 espèces emblématiques d'animaux ou de plantes de forêts vierges en n&b prêtes à être coloriés; en bas de page, les noms en anglais et en latin de l'espèce avec une petite notice explicative; des images en couleur servant de modèles sont sur les pages de garde pour seulement une quatre d'entre elles (en deux tableaux), obligeant à se référer à une encyclopédie pour les autres; ce livre de coloriage non exhaustif mais bien fait et sérieux sera parfait pour l'initiation à la nature d'enfants de plus de sept ans suffisamment soigneux et patients pour s'appliquer (ou alors les faire s'entraîner avec des photocopies n&b); je dois reconnaître avoir été favorablement surpris par la qualité de cette publication, ayant été échaudé par plusieurs tentatives précédentes, et je dois dire que j'ai enfin trouvé ce que je cherchais et j'envisage d'acquérir d'autres ouvrages de la même série (taper sur le moteur de recherche d'Amazon: Dover coloring book); je pense qu'il vaut mieux préférer les ouvrages neufs même s'ils sont légèrement plus chers pour éviter le risque de se retrouver avec un exemplaire crayonné ou fortement détérioré avec de nombreuses pages absentes (ce qui était malheureusement le cas pour celui-ci au point que j'ai dû demander un remboursement)

j'aime beaucoup c'est petit livret de coloriage , le détail du livre :-tout est écrit en anglais- il y a en tout anglais- les dessins sont recto versos mais très sympas- du bon papier mais pas super épais , donc même si je n'ai pas eu le temps de faire un test avec des feutres je pense qu'ils doivent traverser le papier
