I just received this this morning.This is my first try with a different brand (than sodastream). Honestly, the reason I chose this one was because it was the one with the highest ratings of the two or three that had overnight delivery by morning. It's also a little more expensive than the other few with the same delivery, and I'm hoping "you get what you pay for."It's not the most expensive, but all I need is carbonation. I don't need anything extra.Another reason I chose this one is because I already have a very large amount of the screw in CO2 containers. I definitely did not want to have to deal with a different type of canister.I followed the initial instructions and gave it the same amount and length of pumps as I did with my most recent SodaStream. It was perfect. It was the exact same amount of carbonation that I prefer; just two quick pumps and it's very carbonated.With my previous carbonators, I would have to make the pumps a little bit longer as the CO2 tanks got lower. So, I will find out if this one works the same way, in a couple months.I needed to buy a new one last night because my second (or third) sodastream started spewing water like Old Faithful. I tried every troubleshoot method.I'm so done with the sodastream brand. I have had to buy a completely new one because the seal has become defective in every one. That's what typically stops working in those and you're forced to buy a new one. Their plan to make subpar seals so you have to keep buying new ones, actually "forced" me want to try a different brand. Seemingly, the newer sodastreams get, the faster the seal will defect. And you can't even get the kind with the screw and CO2 containers anymore.I will absolutely update this if anything comes up. Today is Feb 6th, 2025.I know people say they will update reviews and they never do. But, I always do. So if you don't see any updates, then you can safely presume that nothing has changed.

Highly recommend if you enjoy sparkling water! We used to buy La Croix, spent about $10 a week on them and was looking for something to save money and not be as wasteful. I chose this brand because it is not made with plastic like the Sodastream. It is sleek and easy to use, you can control how much carbonation you want and how much sparkling water you want at the moment. The C02 canister is easy to install, we bought a canister at Target and go swap it out for a full one once or twice a month for $18.

I like this and it is easy to use but the carbonation seems to lighten up rather soon once in a glass. That probably has more to do with the gas you use.

This is a waste of money. I have had several different brands of similar devices and this is by far the worst. Even though I went through a full CO2 canister in half the time, the water produced had far inferior fizziness. Very disappointed. I will not use it anymore and plan to replace with an Aarke despite the increased cost and loudness when operating it.

Like this so much more than my Soda Stream! A little plastic part broke in the Soda Stream. Couldn't be replaced or fixed. They have switched to a different gas bottle attachment so I would have had to switch that too. This is so much nicer. Looks and feels solid. Special shout out to the designer who didn't copy the Soda Stream bottles--which have a narrow base, for no apparent purpose, which makes them super tippy, especially when empty. Review would be 5 stars except that the water bottle is easily pumped off of its attachment when you gas it. This has led to some clean up. Thankfully it's just water!

Works great, carbonation is great and lasts, and no cords. Small enough for those with limited counter space and this was actually cheaper than the Sodastream model I was going to go with. It has a minimalist design, and is better looking. I love the fact that it’s made of wood composite. Some reviewers were saying that the bottles had rust and stains on them- again, looking at their pictures- those flecks that they see are the variations in the wood composites which the bottle cap and bottom as well as the body of the device itself are made of. (And that makes each one unique!) With everything that’s going on in the world, every little bit helps when it comes to the three Rs.

The media could not be loaded. I decided to breakup with previous beverage carbonator and its quick connect cartridges. I went on the hunt for a new beau. While pouring through the different brands and designs on the market, I turned up mostly baggage and disappointing reviews. Despite needing to break things off with the ex, I didn’t want to rush into anything, or worse… settle. So I backed off my search, reconnected with still water, and spent time on myself. Then one day we bumped into one another by chance. Modest price, old school connection (cartridge not included), and care for our environment seemed too good to be true. I had my guard up but decided to give things a shot and hit add to cart. Arriving a few days later, we took things slow at first. Unboxing, recycling the sustainable packaging, and recognizing quality. When the time came for drinks things were initially a bit awkward. I may have overlooked the instructions, but we figured it out just fine with a few giggles and not a single argument. The wide mouth bottle, quiet charge, and efficiency… instantly in love. No fuss, no drama, just bubbles. It wasn’t long before we picked out permanent countertop real estate, ordered extra water bottles and settled into a rhythm.
