This was exactly what I needed for a trip to beautiful (but rainy) Ireland. It protected my backpack perfectly. I recommend threading one strap vertically through the top loop on your backpack and one horizontally (like a +) so that it does not move. Love the small pouch it fits into - easy to carry and have ready for unexpected rain.

This fits my small and medium camera bags, but coverage on my large bag comes up a bit short.I tested this walking around in the rain for a good 30+ minutes and it seems fine. I was glad i had it.Cons: the stitching for the straps is not to be relied upon, and the shape of the cover is round more like a large shower cap - where one might expect it to be more square or rectangular.I'm considering ordering the next size up for my large bag, not sure yet. I think the ten dollar price should be closer to seven or eight bux imo.
