Great personal shredder. The shredder is very compact, light weight and will fit into small spaces. I use it at home to out of date documents that is no longer required. It is fast for its compact size can shred small stapples, has no issues with debit cards and shreds in a cross cut type manner that provided small tinny pieces, good for keeping info safe and un recoverable.

I have only used it once for about 30 minutes non stop but at a steady rate 3-6 pages according to paper thickness.. It was perfect. It never cut out or overheated. I was very impressed. If I used it at a fast rate i or trying to shred too much at a time it could have cut out I suppose. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. For personal use at a steady rate it has proved perfect. My tip would be. Listen to the sound of the shredder and you can soon judge if too much has been put in it.

Bought this today and it has been through a few runs.Negatives so far:1. Seems to struggle a bit once you get to 5 sheets at a time but pulled through fine.2. The product I received has a crack in the top upon delivery. Doesn't seem to affect it but not what was to be expected from a brand new machine.Other than that, I find this to be a good shredder for a home/small office that doesn't need to perform a lot of work.The cuts are as expected which makes me confident that the likelihood of people being able to extract them are next to zero.Crack in the machine aside, I would recommend this overall.Note, it IS quite loud so not something you want to have running during movie time.

Went for the microcut option and this works very well compared to a standard cross cut shredder. Not overly noisy and comfortably handles multiple sheets even if it slows down a little if you give it 6 at a time.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a decent shredder for domestic use and I'm not disappointed. It states 6 pages max which it will do but bear in mind, likes all of these figures, that is a maximum and will depend on the paper thickness - the sensible thing to do it listen to the sounds it's making... If it's groaning, it's too much!I got through a fair wedge of paperwork that I'd been saving up by doing just a few sheets at a time and it did a great job in next to no time without any jams and the resultant pieces are tiny and I'd say, completely useless to even the most determined identity thief.The unit feels well built and sturdy, the weight suggests a solid metal construction inside, the handle is really useful for when separating for emptying and not that I've needed the reverse, when I tried it, it ejected the part shredded sheets without issue.Really pleased with the purchase especially given the quality and (currently reduced) price and would gladly recommend.

The shedder works fine and if you are after real security it chops the paper up into tiny pieces that would be next to impossible to put together again.But why does it need a glaring and dazzling led on the top that blinds you when you try to change the fiddly control switch position. This led forces you to have to switch the shredder completely off and then on again every time you use it, if you don't want a glaring greed light on all the time. My last shredder just stayed silently on with no unnecessary led, waiting until you put some paper in to be shredded. It's a shame because it is a great shedded, appart from that badly designed fiddly switch and dazzling led.
