Motrent Wooden Lowercase Alphabet Puzzle Board Toy for Kids

This is a very cute lower case alphabet set. I looked high and low for a set that had b, d, p and q different looking so the little one can tell those apart. Only this set met the requirement, the 4 letters fit only in their respective slots. The alphabets are a little small but very cute, I like that they can stand on the notch provided and have very pretty colors. The paint on the letters is also holding up well, it hasn't chipped unlike the other puzzles we have. I'm only taking a star off because of the board that unfortunately isn't as high quality as the letters, it came to us already bent and chipped. I hope they work on the issue and it could be a five star product.

I love this puzzle! ♥️ I absolutely love the thick, durable, and beautifully colored lowercase letters, which is hard to find in a quality puzzle! My 3 and 5 year old love it and play with it a lot! I gifted one to my daughter's preschool and they were so excited, as they don't have a lowercase puzzle yet and loved the colors! Could not be happier. I have a Melissa and Doug puzzle, all capital letters, but the paper on top of the letters (colors) are coming off (paper like) and had to seal them to stop this from happening. With this puzzle, I don't have to do it that, no peeling here,.It looks to be solid color all the way through. My kids love stacking the thick letters, sorting the colors and making words with them. Would buy again!

The letters are kind of heard to identify when off of the puzzle board. The letters themselves are think and sturdy. The board of as slightly disappointing. For how thick the letter are the slots on the board are thin and the letter fall out easily.

The product was used to teach my grandbabies to match the lower case letters with the lowercase letters.The uppercase letters we have and used are thicker and srurdier than the lowercase letters.

My toddler really likes it but a few suggestions for the manufacturer- make the grooves deeper so the letters are less like to pop out from little fingers and don’t paint the underside of the letters because the babies get confused as to which way the letter is supposed to go. Also maybe color code the board with the appropriate letter- so the kids can match where the letters go- especially for the lower case letter pieces that look very similar- d,b,p,q

This was a cheap wooden puzzle, which is why I bought it instead of others. However, immediately after showing my two-year-old I noticed why. There is no color on the board itself making it easy for my son to try placing similar letters like "d", "p", "q", "b" or "n" and "u" in the wrong place. Also the front of the letters look the same as the back, so he tried to place letters in backwards often. I put in a little bit of work and painted the board to match the colors and also the backside of letters black so he could easily identify if a letter was backwards. Works great now, but if you're getting this for a really young child who is just learning either buy a different set or get some paint and make some alterations. Picture is after I painted the puzzle, the only thing colored originally was the letters themselves(minus the black backside).

It's clearly a generic brand puzzle, but it's chunky and my kid is happy using it as a puzzle, or just as alphabet. It does have a few minor imperfections.I don't think I'd give it as a gift, but for my own kid it's great.

The product is good quality, but the letters get kind of confusing. The p, q, b and d curl at different places to differentiate them but it's like you still have to sit there an extra moment trying to figure out where they go because the differences are so subtle. I wish the letter blocks and the letter spaces on the board were color coordinated or something for greater ease. Nonetheless, the seller did deliver on their end and this board is still a great learning tool.
