Works as expected on my Honda Africa Twin bike. Had a problem when I changed phone, but a software update on the device fixed it.However the upgrade tool itself needs an upgrade so that it is trusted by Android phones.

Stopped working out of the blue after three months of usage. I've got wired Android Auto and an S22 Ultra. The phone says it's connected to the unit Wifi but nothing is showing on the car screen. I've tried all fixing methods described on the Carlinkit website, nothing worked.Please don't buy. In the end, even if the manufacturer is advising on how to troubleshoot, why would anyone want to buy anything that needs troubleshooting after only three months of use?!

Easy to set-up and use. Works very well with my Ford Fiesta / Sync 3.4 system.

Worked ok at first, now will connect very rarely, maybe once out of ten to twenty attempts. not good.Having had a communication from the supplier with updated instructions for the set-up it is now working well.

I bought this to convert CarPlay from wired to wireless in my 2024 Ford (still disappointing it doesn't have this as standard!), plugging it in works completely as expected, setup was simple and straightforward.It comes with a USB-A to USB-C and a USB-C to USB-C cable so you should be able to plug the adapter into either port in your car. The adapter also has a USB-A connector that you can use to charge a device if you only have one USB port in your car.I've always noticed on my car - when using wired CarPlay - the screen is very zoomed in and everything is large. Using the settings web page for this adapter I was able to change the resolution, along with lots of other settings to improve speed and performance, and now CarPlay displays in a much better way!I've used this adapter everyday for months and it works perfectly, it connects within seconds and will remain solid for very long journeys too.I can't fault this product, if your car has wired CarPlay only, this is a MUST!

After reviewing a good few of those I finally tried this one. I’m disappointed and after a couple of weeks in the car I’ve had to send it back. It probably connects when you get into the car only about 70% of the time. I’ve been having to “forget this device” and start again on many occasions. Once it’s connected I found it to be very laggy! Especially when using maps. I think this is the case with most of them actually, but this one being the price it is I suppose I expected it to work as if I was using my cable , and it definitely doesn’t. I found it quite frustrating especially when you got into the car and just struggled to connect until you started from scratch and paired the device to your phone again. Some people might find it acceptable for it to work like this but I just found it annoying. I’ve reviewed other makes and all seem to carry the same kind of reviews, some good some not so good. I’m very reluctant to try another brand and will just carry on using car play with my cable.
