Never in a million years would I have thought something like this would work, but indeed it did. Saved myself thousands of dollars by cutting the tree limbs down without the need of hiring a professional arborist. Great hack!

The storm had an elm tree in our yard leaning, my 84 year old husband cut it down with this little chain saw. He was tired but mission accomplished. Worked really well, could not use big chain saw, too high in the air, this saved us big expense. Tied rope to each end and it reached up high, it is down. I give it 10 stars.

I’d like to caveat my review by saying I haven’t tried to actually cut through wood with this. I wanted this for emergencies. I did however give it a thorough inspection. The saw itself seems to be relatively well made. The teeth are sharp and the chain is sturdy and well oiled. I found the handles a bit difficult to hold but that may just be an issue for me. It seems long enough to work for most emergency situations and with two people you could probably slowly cut through just about anything. One person can cut smaller stuff no problem I’m sure.

Only had to use it once but it worked for the cuts i needed to make.

This pocket chainsaw has become a mainstay in my hunting pack, solving an issue that I didn't know I had. If there's a branch in the way of a shooting lane, rather than snapping it and making a ton of noise, I can quick surgically remove with this.Although teeth are only on one side of the unit, it makes quick work of small/mid-sized branches.

I threw this behind the seat of my truck to use in case I need to saw a downed tree branch in the mountains. Given, if a branch is big enough to stop my truck it's going to take a long time to saw through with this, but I feel better having it anyway.

The bag this comes with is pretty nice, and once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to use! Great thing to have on hand for a camping trip!

This chainsaw comes in its own carrying pouch that will fit on a belt. The loop is sewn so it can’t be fed through another loop such as you’d find on a MOLLE bag. It has a decent length and the handles are comfortable, but it requires a bit of upper body strength to use.You need to be able to reach all the way around the trunk or limb to put this saw in place. The material being cut must be secure in place because the forces that are needed to cut will pull the item towards you. The tree/branch should be 4” or less in diameter. It could be used by two people with one holding each end, but that requires a bit of coordination.As you are cutting through a tree, the pulling force will cause it to bind unless you have some sort of wedge to use with it. This is something that can help in an emergency, but is rather difficult to use well.
