It’s not like a blackout curtain but it does filter light and will darken the room.The material is heavy and it hangs beautifully. I have the black curtain.

It is described as water proof but still water goes through the curtain. Size and color is okay. The pattern on the curtain looks somewhat old and boring but it’s just my opinion. Otherwise, it does its job.
