This is a great book for any death note fan and especially fans of L. There is not much action in this book but if you love the detective/smart problem solving side of death note you will love this book.

This is one of few books without pictures in it that I read on a regular basis; the font is larger than standard books I own so it's easier on my eyes and doesn't require me to use my glasses which is convenient should they be unavailable.The white sheet on the book is removable, and the black base is canvas in the copy I own and is very resilient. The card overlay did wear after a while and I had to remove it, but it's no major loss.I bought a second copy for a friend and she's a far more dedicated reader of books than I am, and even she enjoys this one and proudly shows it in her collection.A good read and a worthy purchase for any Death Note or murder-mystery fan.

The book itself is a goregious book. Hardback, black cloth cover with silver title and image. A ilistration on the second page. A half paper sleeve that also has the silver on. It's own fabrics book mark. The book is well made and looks fantastic.Now to the storyA spin of novle to popular Japanese manga death note. The book contains two charictor a from the series L and Naomi misora and mentions of her partner. Odd ideas from the manga are baught in aswell mentioning the shin game briefly.The story isent over long and it's not so short it's disappointing. To me the book is just the right length. The story is good but there are slight anoying things with the names of people not from the series. Set in America the victims names are all just random words thrown together and becomes anoying after a while.There are a few scenes that get investigated and it goes through the investigation by Naomi well with there theory's about what will follow from the scene hints. There are a few twists in the story and is week written even if odd bits feel like it's dragging its feet to get the important bits in.Overall I enjoyed the book and looks amazing with my outher hardbacks but it's got a few anoying quolitys that can put some people off. I put up with the names and enjoyd the story in the end.

Such a good book. Read it in like two days

Such a wonderful novel!! I expected it to be good, but my jaw dropped to the floor on a number of times, while reading the book. Especially the ending - I was literally staring at the book for about a minute, thinking to myself "Whaaaaat?!"Although I haven't read any detective novels, I would say that this one is great!! Definitely has its jawdropping moments. Would highly recommend it to any Death Note fan.
