Q: Sensor hardly goes red - first time using it it picked up lots of dust but only flickered red twice for a second each. Is the sensor faulty?

First time I expected a lot of dust etc, but as you use it on a regular basis just light dust looks like a good sign to me.

Q: Can you use this on the stair carpet

Yes is the answer, but slightly over kill the flat tread is fine to do but upright part of stairs is harder to do as this little beast is well made and heavy for wrists

Q: I cleaned the brush, but now it is not spinning electrically when in use anymore. It only rotates when I push the machine back and forth. Any ideas?

There is a belt that attaches to the brush to rotate it. Make sure it is assembled correctly

Q: Can this be used on bed sheets? Does it remove pet hairs?

This is a mini Dyson like machine has a fairly small dust collector but is quite powerful sheets could be done but they would need to be held taught while the cleaning was done otherwise it would suck the sheet in and jam the machine. Really designed for the matress, certainly would pick up pet hair but would fill the collector rapidly. It’s really for collecting dust mites dead skin etc, its very good at that maybe not for heavy duty vacuuming
