Fun game ideal to play with children

We love playing this as a family

This comes ina nicely packaged cardboard box.In the box, you get the One Trick Pony, 1 Cowboy Hat, 1 Hay Stalk, 1 Rock, 1 Fence, 15 Animals, 1 Spinner, and Instructions.You do need to buy 3 AA batteries which is annoying if you don't check and give it as a gift and don't have batteries in the house!!You need to spend a couple of minutes setting everything up - build the pony, put the battery in the base unit etc.Once you turn the game on the pony starts to spin the lasso with a 'yeehaw.The idea is you try to get the item instructed by the spinner by putting your hand through the loop of the lasso.Every now and then the lasso tightens and you get caught.This is a fun game requiring no skill at all with a huge chance element to it.It is the kind of game young children will really love - my two grandsons aged 6 and 8 love it and it causes much giggling when others get caught.I do feel that the price it o on the high side though and feel £15 is probably what is a fair price rather than the £26.99 it is at time of review.

This is a great game to play with the whole family, as its a game of speed and chance.Inside the box you get the pony that requires minimal putting together (Hat, arm, tail and straw), the base unit, fence, animals to be collected, spinner board and instructions. The base unit takes 3 AA sized batteries for the game to start.Once everything is clipped together and you are ready, turn the unit on which is met with a "yeehaw" from the horse (pony), and to start the game you press the button on the top of the unit. At this point the lasso spins into action and forms a spinning loop/hole that you put your hand through to pick up whatever the spin of the spinner board tells you to get.At certain times, the lasso will tighten and grab your hand which is where the chance element comes in.Games like this are a great addition to the toy box, as the grandchildren are going to love playing this when they come round. Great fun

The media could not be loaded. This has just been received has brand new batteries put in it. The rope either doesn't spin of starts and then stops. The rope is a brownish colour which would suggest it's been burnt possibly from being over worked. That leads me to believe this is a returned defective item in the first place. Absolutely disgraceful that it's been sent out broken!

Good little gametook a while to get the string attached and to work.

This game requires 3 AA batteries (not included) and a screwdriver. The batteries go inside the grey seat the horse sits on which I think is an anvil, a nice detail to fit in with the horse’s western cowboy theme!When you turn on the switch on the anvil there’s a loud “yee-haw” which I wasn’t expecting! Pressing a button also on the anvil starts the game. Music plays, along with more yee-haws and the lasso spins around which is pretty cool!Gameplay is simple and quick to learn. You just spin the spinner, which tells you what colour/number of animals you need to pick up by putting your hand through the lasso, which stops randomly and catches your armOverall the game is really fun, the pieces are well made and durable too
