Greenwood Essential Pure Hazelnut Oil (Corylus avellana) Cold Pressed 15ml (0.50oz)

I love using this oil for my face, hair and body. For my face I use this in an oil cleanser and the after washing for extra moisture. For my hair I use it in a hot oil treatment before shampooing, a little in my towel dried hair and some throughout the week too. For my body I use it after a shower on my damp skin for a super hydrating experience.

Pretty much odourless and a very pale yellow, extremely pale. It's quite a runny oil which spreads over skin easily, it feels light and makes an excellent cleansing oil especially for eye make up. I spread about five drops over all of my face and neck, I closed my eyes and carefully spread a little over my lids and lashes then waited for a minute. With a damp muslin cloth I wiped off the oil from my eye area and used a rechargeable silicone facial cleansing device to massage the oil in and deep cleanse my face. I wiped all of the oil off with a warm, damp muslin cloth again. My skin felt clean, light and fresh. All of my waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner had completely gone and my lashes felt soft and conditioned.Ive been using it as a moisturising oil too, its so good. It doesn't leave your skin heavy, it feels light and quite refreshed. Sometimes a facial oil can make your face feel clogged and sweaty because it leaves a thick layer on your skin, not with this oil though. It truly is light and would probably make a good cleansing oil for combination or sensitive skin, add a few drops of your preferred essential oils to nourish further as you cleanse and wipe off. Cleanse and condition in one fell swoop.If used in the above way it will prove to be quite economical because you'll save from not having to use extra moisturiser. An excellent starter oil if you're new to cleansing and moisturising with oils.I highly recommend giving this a try. If its not suitable for your face give your body a lovely nourishing massage with it, it dies wonders for dry feet too. Rub some into your tootsies, place food bags over them for 15-30 minutes then remove the bags and massage the oil in. Pop warm socks on and slip into bed, in the morning you'll have lovely soft feet. Use a foot file beforehand though to slough of dry dead skin.

Hazelnut oil will not stop your pores up, so I like to use it on my face when I'm out in the sun tanning. It keeps my lips and face soft and moist. It's a clear odorless oil that's very good for softening. It would also make a great massage oil. Mine came with a drip dispenser that works great. The way I put these dispensers in, I take the old cap out and just set the dispenser on top of the bottle and then close the lid down. That always gets the dispensary in perfectly. If you want to pour the oil you could leave it out, but I like to dispense mine two or three drops at a time.

This essential oil comes in a nice glass bottle with a dripper style top that allows you to add accurate measurements. This type of oil is ideally used in skincare products as it can have very good benefits. The scent itself is not strong so it’s not aimed at say using in an oil burner for fragrance purposes.
