Just started to use on my 2 dogs. They are loving the smell and taste. they actually enjoy having their teeth cleaned. Nice smell for the humans too. We've notices improved swelling on the gums and less tar build-up. Breath has not changed that much but good overall. Will f/u in few months.

I do like this for my 10 year old pup. He had to have 10 teeth pulled over a year ago, even though I brushed his teeth three times a week. So I looked for a better dog tooth paste and found Pet Smile. It really seems to have helped his teeth stay more tarter free, and his breath is definitely improved. I do brush every night now for the past year, so that helps too. Two down sides are, it is expensive, and he does not really like the flavors, I've tried all three and he's not a huge fan, but tolerates it.

One less star because he is not the biggest fan of the flavor but he tolerates it. Got it and use it with other VOHC approved products to get results in three weeks.

So far seems to be working well for my pets. They seem to like the flavor and allow me to brush their teeth without much issue. Color of the product is pale/white, consistency is smooth and thick it stays on the brush well, size of the bottle is reasonable and similar to a human toothpaste, leaves dog breath smelling better than before.

My cat likes the flavor but won't let me put it on a toothbrush in her mouth yet. So far she licks it off my finger and I try to rub a bit on her front teeth.

I was really excited about this product as it’s the first hypoallergenic (with vegan flavorings) toothpaste I found online, which would be ideal for my IBD cat. Unfortunately he absolutely hates it.. he even prefers to have his teeth brushed with no toothpaste at all. Our other cats also disliked it. I guess the flavor is off. It doesn’t smell like rotisserie chicken to me at all.. Luckily our dog isn’t picky so now he has the honor to use this expensive toothpaste lol. Other than the off putting taste it looks well made. 2.5 oz is already a decent size. I might considering trying another flavor in the future if it’s on sale, just because my IBD cat is in desperate need of a hypoallergenic toothpaste.

as a past veterinary hospital administrator and then working in nutrition for most of my career, I do like this product for a number of reasons. The dogs like it and will line up to get their teeth brushed nightly. the product has been reviewed by the oral health council for plaque.

Both of my dogs were repulsed by the smell of this toothpaste and backed away from the dab of it on my finger. I have used other brands in the past and they loved the taste often trying to chew on the toothbrush or get the tube. Not so with this one. If you want you pet to like getting their teeth brushed look elsewhere.
