My son loves it
We purchased this for my son's kindle app and were very happy that it is just like the hardbound book with all the crazy lettering and pictures. While the book displays small in horizon format it displays the pages perfectly in the vertical setting on his android tablet. He dived right in to reading it with a fervor. I love these books for him as they are the first books my son has ever shown a desire to read without being reminded and he finishes them. Then he tells me in great detail about the story when he's finished that I almost don't have to read it to know it. The Geronimo stilton books, while being great stories, also expose my son to a lot more large vocabulary words than other books at this grade level. I love that, and of course, they are just fun to read.

Great for young kids
I bought this book for my young children to read before bed. I like it because it is actually fairly interesting and fun to read for me, and the kids like it because it has a lot of nice pictures and is interesting for them as well. They especially like the maps that are printed for each area that our hero travels through and they ask me what everything is. My 2nd grader can also read this book on her own with some help on some words, and I have her read parts of it sometimes. It is seldom that I have found books to read to the kids that I actually do not mind reading myself. I have read two of the books in the Kingdom of Fantasy series so far and have enjoyed both.

Awesome (again!)
My 8 yr old has every one of the Geronimo Stilton books and he read each of them in about a week. He got a low grade in school in Reading, last semester. So, I asked him if he wanted to get a bookshelf in his room and fill it with books he read. He immediately asked for the next book in this series and the rest is history. Keep in mind this is a kid who prefers to play with Legos, be outside with other friends or get some time on the Xbox...in the middle of a free Saturday afternoon, I have seen him pick up this book, go to a quiet place and read. I could not recommend this any higher.

Great for 8 year old boy who doesn't love reading!
My 8 year old son loves these books. He is not too excited about reading, but he is reading these fantasy series rather quick. I can tell he really likes them because he doesn't ask if "reading time" is over. He keeps on reading. If other parents have a boy who likes fantasy, I recommend this series. I also recommend the graphic novels of The Amulet. My son actually kept asking for the next books and read them each in one sitting. Both series are excellent and very magical. I'm so glad to finally find something that keeps my child's interest!

So fun!
This book has so many aspects to it. It is colorful, it is written simply enough that my kindergartener can pick out some words as I read, there are passages to decode, and maps. My son loves it and begs me to read it every night, which is a huge deal! He likes to look at dinosaur books but usually does not prefer to be read to. We have already ordered the second book in the series. The book arrived in a short amount of time and we are pleased!

Awesome for young readers
Bought used one from “ThriftBooks - Squared”. It’s heavily used and not as good condition as some of the other vendors. Nevertheless, good from inside .....just work out exteriorDaughter loves Geronimo series. She was not into reading and this series turned her into a reader.

Great Adventure Book
The Quest for Paradise was great because Geronimo Stilton is brave and smart. He escaped from giant ogres, and it was really cool. He found silver keys that he needed to find the Heart of Happiness. He also had to solve 10 riddles to find a secret exit to the Kingdom of Fairies. He meets many characters, both good and dangerous. I like these books because it feels like you are part of the adventure and you can picture the scenes in your mind. By JP age 7 1/2

Off the hook
This book was so freaking awesome! Those who love adventure and action would dig this book. I loved that it was very well written and it all supported the idea of the whole book. I also loved that it carried a bit of sadness. They very cool part in my opinion was that there was more lands in the kingdom of fantasy than in the first one. People who have a thirst for adventure would love this book. :)
