Got this light to test it out and it's become part of my everyday carry. It's smaller than some of the photography/videography oriented tube lights so it's perfect for just throwing in a backpack and it comes in handy in lots of situations. It's bright! But I almost never use it at full brightness and I'm really pleased with how dim it is at the lower settings. It's a minimal design and that's a good thing - everything happens from a small number of controls (though I mostly stick to the basic functions). For photography, the range of color temperatures is very impressive (haven't tested how pure the white is with a meter or anything, but it's great to have such a wide latitude of color temp).I haven't really used it enough yet to speak to battery life and charging time. Things I love - in color mode it moves through the spectrum extremely smoothly - no stepping and very even. This is impressive in such an inexpensive light. The built in diffusion is superior to many lights that are much more expensive - it's super soft and you don't see individual LEDs in any setting. I don't know if this means you're losing a lot of light output to the diffusion but it feels worth it. It's not a round tube and the diffuser only wraps around the front, so it appears different from straight on and any other angles. If you're using it as a practical in a scene, that could be an issue. But given it's size, you're not going to be using it to do a lot of music videos - it's just not that kind of tube light. But I wish those lights had diffusers this soft.I'm mostly using it as part of my everyday carry and finding it convenient in a lot of situations where I want something that's fast and good enough. I'd buy it again for this purpose even if I'm using other lights for slower, more dedicated setups with specific needs in mind. And I'll definitely consider this brand if they come out with bigger lights with more advanced features. Overall, pretty happy

Ho comprato l'oggetto per migliorare la qualità del video di una webcam dove le fonti di illuminazione non sono granché e sono da un lato solo. In queste condizioni, con uno schermo abbastanza grande (27") anche solo cambiare una finestra per controllare la posta fa notare un cambio di luminosità.Con questo oggetto, poco ingombrante (circa 20cm) leggero ed estremamente portatile, con un utile treppiedi ripiegabile, riesco ad avere un fill-in già con una luminosità impostata a circa il 20%. Inoltre ha un accurato controllo della temperatura che consente di o replicare la fonte primaria (led a temperatura diurna) o di creare un effetto alternativo. Benché possa essere utilizzato per tale scopo, invece, non mi pare adatto a creare una luce ambientale, perché troppo piccolo e dunque la luce rimane abbastanza puntiforme.L'unico difetto che trovo è l'interfaccia non estremamente intuitiva, ma una volta che si capisce l'uso doppio del tasto accensione (premuto brevemente, cambia la modalità) e del tasto "M" (seleziona la voce di menu, le frecce lo modificano), è tutto sommato accettabile. Non ha un telecomando, per cui ogni modifica va fatta prendendo in mano l'oggetto.Tutto sommato soldi ben spesi, l'effetto che volevo è ampiamente raggiunto.

Ideal for the job, I have three now . Sturdy as a couple have been knocked over and no issues. Great to have in the bag .

I was using this now for a week. It is a really good light for the price. Has a huge colour spectrum and the interface is really simple and intuitve. It has some magnets so you can just stick it on any metal, saved me just yesterday. Of course the build quality is not super good compared to much more expensive lights, it is a plastic housing after all. STill it does not feel like it would break apart easily.Also I really like the form factor,. it is a tube light but small enough to fit anywhere and you can easily oplace it in your shot and hide it with something else.The small tripod it comes with is a cheap piece of plastic, but it does the job and has a super small footprint.I hoppe the battery life will stay as strong for long while, but i will have to see about that in the long term. For now at the start, battery life is really good. Had the light running for 1,5 hours on 25% and it still has 4 of 4 bars battery life. It is also really bright on 100%.All in all, you can not go wrong with this light for that price!
