The BFG Paperback – International Edition, August 23, 2016

I still love this story and have read it to all the of my children. I love the silly words, the wild adventurous story line and the smart solutions that the BFG and Sophie come up with. My children love the all around silliness that the story holds and are sometimes scared, but always pleasantly surprised by the outcomes that arise with each chapter. The illustrations area wonderful as well.

Ronald Dahl makes reading fun for kids. I downloaded it to ny kindle so I could read along with my neighbor kid. He was falling behind on reading & we first read Charlie & the Chocolate Factory together (per my suggestion). He was then assigned to read BFG in school. These books have greatly improved his reading ability. He loves these books.

it was amazing story,incredible,fantastic,brilliant. but i could not purchase it but thr sampel is good and interesting story of all times my book and also we could read for timepass and in lockdown it is very interesting thing to do to read this book.

This is a splendid book for storytelling. Growing up in the United States, I missed out on it. So glad to discover it, even so late in life.

This classic by Roald Dahl was made into a movie in 2016. While slightly different in places from the book, both make for fantastic experiences. With a lovable giant and a brave and kind-hearted orphan named Sophie, there are lessons to learn about family and kindness. The BFG speaks a bit differently from most of us, which can make it difficult to read for some, but it also adds to the element of fantasy and whimsy. Though I'd recommend politely declining his favorite drink, frobscottle, while in public.

My 7 years old loved it! We now have BFG language spoken in the house and laughter follows naturally. Beautifully written!

I like when Sophie and the BFG become friends. I like when he told the queen to fight the bad giants.

I love this book and the simple beauty of the story! This is a great read for any age group!
