Easy to setup, works great, only configures on the 2.4ghz network, will fit and work in motor casement without the housing!

Worked for maybe a couple months until the WiFi just failed. Even doing a hard reset to factory settings didn’t get WiFi working again. Looking for alternatives.

I originally had an issue when first installed on my Co-Z gate motor but was quickly resolved through tech support.My gate motor came with a 4 button remote but only 1 button was used to open/close/stop the gate. The instructions to install this to my motor showed connecting to comm and cls on my circuit board. However when doing it that way it would only close my gate and not open it so I emailed their support . I received an email back within 24 hours explaining what to do with a reference to the motor manual. All I had todo was change 1 dip switch on the motor circuit board. The instructions state that the new setting makes it 1 button control (which I thought I already had). I changed the 1 dip switch and everything worked perfect. There is not space under the motor cover to mount this unit to help keep it out of the weather. I ultimately took the circuit board out of the ismartgate mini, 3d printed a bracket and mounted it under the motor cover. Where it sits, I have 3 out of 5 bars for wifi which connect sand works good but the app takes a few seconds to connect each time. I have it set up with my google home and barely use the app now. I just tell google to open and close it instead. When using google home, you have to use a 4 digit pass code so someone else can't open or close it.

First one I got had to be return. It won't joint to the network. Got a replacement, setup was fast an easy. Got everything in about 20min and works out. Fast respond to defective and replacement arrive in a timely manner.

I wouldn't consider myself to be a tech guro or a home automation expert but the setup was very straightforward and easy. You do have to look on the website to confirm that your garage motor does work with the unit and it's pretty straightforward on how to set it up. It took me about 20 minutes to set up.Since then it has been incredibly useful. The app has been working consistently. I recently linked it up to Google Assistant which made it even more amazing. Hands down one of the best devices I've ever bought

The wireless sensor never worked for this. I tried every angle but no dice. When I look online it appears to be a very common problem. So now my smart garage door is really dumb. It thinks it is always closed. Another annoyance is that Google home requires a passcode (yes even though you are on the Google account and logged in). Not the fault of this product but still does slow things down as a solution.

Works great as described! We can now open and close our business property gate remotely with the slide of a button. It also has a way to set up reminders that the gate is still open. A nice added feature in case we forget to close the gate.

This product worked well for two weeks, then stopped picking up signals. Upon trying to reset it, I found that the reset button did not work. I read some other buyers' comments and found they went through the same experience. I tried to call tech support, and the number does not work. It takes you to a marketing center that tries to sell you more junk products. After talking with Amazon, I was refunded. For that, I'm grateful.
