Good deterrent!It is small enough but yet strong enough. Yes it won’t stop someone that is determined to steal your pride and joy. However I use is in conjunction with two disks locks and attached the chain to another motorcycle when I travel in a group or to a fixed lamppost or barrier. For a weight of 2.5kg I can take it anywhere. Good item and good value.

At 120 cm long, it’s the perfect length to lock both the bike frame and rear wheel securely to a bike rack or railing. This gives me peace of mind, especially when leaving my bike in high-risk areas.Yes, it’s a bit over 2 kg, so it’s on the heavier side, but that’s a small trade-off for the serious protection it offers. Great for our mountain bikes. Long enough to easily lock two bikes to a lamp post or tree. Strong enough to deter even the most determined, bolt-cropper wielding thief. Cloth covering protects bike from scratches. My ten year old thinks it's a bit heavy. I tend to carry it across my body like a handbag when I use it.

This is just that bit longer than most comparable bike locks and its length should enable greater flexibility of locking up including the situation where threre are two bikes. It's heavy, but then you knew that. I can carry it round my waist if I don't take a panier.It's suitable for static use at home in a garage. The fact that there are 4 keys is great and lack of spare keys ruled out many other lock options.

The requirement was for a motorbike lock that hit that magical sweetspot between being not too heavy, not too flimsy, looks tough and ideally, is tough.Well i watched about 34 YouTube videos of people cutting through chains to come to the conclusion that nothing is safe. So I 'rested' the idea of lightweight security in favour of (relatively) lightweight deterrent. At the end of the day, I want to make my motorbike look a bit harder to steal than that one over there. This does the job (so far). Can go in a tank bag, looks the part and actually does feel that it might stop a scrote with a battery grinder.... for at least 30 seconds, which to be fair is about as good as it gets unless you want to spend megabucks, or tow a trailer full of chain.

It is a big heavy chain which is large enough to wear as a belt while riding. Ideal as storing the lock while riding is an area of consideration.
