According to the insert in the box, the masks are made in the U.S.A. Houston Texas is the address in the insert. The mask seems to be very effective . HOpe this proves helpful.

Q: Can these masks be cleaned?

They work by your breath generating an electrostatic attraction and will work until enough dust and debris coats the inner layers to prevent that from happening. Filtration then goes way down. Typical usage is a day, but I leave one in my car in a ziplock bag for 15-min shopping trips, and that lasts for weeks. Neither UV light nor steam will clean them, and disenfecting is not the issue here.

Q: Is there a valve to let out the wearers' breath?

No, there is no valve. BTW, if there's a valve to let your breath escape, then you are protected, but if you happen to become infected, others won't be protected from catching Covid from you.

The metal nose piece is not visible and is enclosed on both sides. It does not touch the nose directly.

Pretty satisfied

Not many people know this but the original n95 mask are those who have niosh certification and this one has it and printed on each mask. Quite satisfied I would easily recommend it to anyone.
